Skye right now is "okay" with the right build and mindset. You shouldn't be off going after solo kills, rather stick with someone like a bodyguard and deal with enemies they're fighting as well as throwing out smoke bombs into enemies, rather than for your escape.
As for loadout, Nimble Fingers 3 is a must (and don't buy deft hands with it). The rest depends on what you wanna focus on. Decrepify 4 lets you shut down 100% of healing on your target with just Cauterize 1. Pollute 3 lets you have 100% uptime on reload speed. Prep 3 is always nice for lowering CDs. Cloak and Ninja 1/2 should be your filler cards.

I really don't understand BK's sticky bomb ranges, they seem wildly inconsistent and anything shy of 'standing right on top of it' or 'stuck to the body' does incredibly low damage, if it even hits at all.

Honestly I don't play OW but I can't imagine choosing it over Paladins. I mean it's run by Blizzard, it has lots of people playing so the community must be LoL 2.0 (and one of the selling points are waifus too), from what I heard the balance is terrible with some OP characters, it gets stale and has no game depth. It's basically paying 40 dollars for a f2p game
I'm new to Paladins but it has no OP characters that I know of but only a few UP ones, it has more depth than OW and some of the characters are actually likeable.

I'm completely fine with the way siege works right now. If you're stomping the enemy team all game but it still ends up being 3 to 3, you should still have a huge advantage because of all the credits you'll have over them. Typically, both teams will have a shitload of ults saved up for the final point, so I usually try to save mine to counter an enemy's rather than unloading first, which I find to be a pretty reliable strategy for winning those games.

Am I the only one that thinks turrets are very uninteresting gameplay wise? You just place them there and they do some mediocre damage then the enemy just oneshots it, I was thinking what if they first made them a lot stronger like they could outdamage a character facing them, to balance this they would only be able to shoot in a fixed direction with a somewhat narrow field of view determied by the direction the player was facing while placing the turret, the player would also be able to spend a couple seconds to reposition them afterwards, the result is that Barik would be more effective at defending chokepoints but still vulnerable to being flanked, also both the player and enemies would have to give more thought to turret placement, positioning and shit.
