Ok i'm currently installing the steam version of the game and going over the paste bins in the op.

Just have fun anon, pick a class you like and play it. Then reroll, the most fun I had in game was overcoming my retardation. Now everything is a faceroll with no difficulty or struggle, just mindless chores to get stronger to one shot bosses instead of killing them normally. Go for the struggle route at the start, it's much more enjoyable seeing the progress you make rather than starting at the top.

Rank 7 was pretty shit as a Pyrolinker, who are you kidding? Yes we were good in closed beta and that's it. We were only good because of pre-nerf Linker and it was nerfed into the ground. Our damage was shit compared to the top classes and they still haven't patched in a way to fucking stop melee from hitting our fireballs. When Rank 8 came out, Pyro was fucking worthless. Linker 3 is the only really I was let into parties at all. We fucking suffered.

The most relevant thing is Token, it's basically a 30d subscription that allows you to do things that are pretty much essential to the game. As trading, having more dungeon runs, team storage and etc.

While hats enchants are good, they're aren't essential if you don't care about pvp, sure they're good on pve, but by no means you need them.

The most effective way to spend money in the game is Tokens, and RMT if you get something with a nice price. Sometimes you can even pass on tokens if you guild gets free TP weekly by losing 1 match and not queueing anymore.

A Wugushi can't kill a same level boss in 5 seconds under any circumstances. We do not have enough burst, especially at lower levels. At level 120 our poisons last a maximum of 10 seconds each and we do not have Throw Gu Pot. At 120, our poisons usually tick for about 1.5k, over 10 seconds that is only 60,000 damage.

Ahh you're right, though I think having a high damaging skill like it is still pretty good to have even if it isn't the longest lasting. It does have two overheat now too and I don't mind setting up a few debuffs to extend it's length. Not to mention pd1 bringing quite a decent amount of things with it as well.

I'm an old player coming back after a while, and before I stopped I remember getting pieces to craft Virtov Plate when they were untradeable, after I collected all recipes I saw that it was impossible to get because some drops weren't in the game and got full Grynas.

Now that it's possible to craft it, it's worth switching? I didn't want to use my level 6 yellow gems on a set that I will be stop using soon because the cap now is 330 and the set is 220.

So they're finally fixing the gacha bug.

RoG = can't use skills, but there's a bug you can exploit.
Cast Levitation as you walk on the RoG tile, if you do it right you'll be a big guy while floating.
Cancel the buff by right clicking the icon, you're now able to cast spells again.
Wait for Levitation to come off cooldown (and heal up) so you can fly and use BC, done.

Just remember that there's an arbitrary damage cap of 199k, so chances are all that setup is overkill and partially wasted.

Inq just needs half damage on malleus and pears in PvP and it will be fine, the class isn't broken on a fundamental level and is just ok in PvE without a physical setup that sacrifices PvP viability. A hybrid anti-mage/physical nuker class should never be viable when played full con though.

There's not one single thing that could improve the game alone. The closest I could think of would be a remodeling of the stat system, probably damage formula, and the way skills worked, and as a result remaking weapons and upgrade system too.

I guess I'd settle for changing how classes/skills worked. This would be done by merging a lot of classes, adding more skills, moving some attributes to become passive skills and such.
To give an example, I don't think Warlock and Summoner should be different classes. I'd make them one, call it Warlock, remove PoA, Merge Summon Familiar and Desmodus into one skill, make all the boss summoning and riding skills be circle 1, the rest of the skills and evil spirit skills circle 2. Mastema and Invocation would be combined somehow. I don't actually know what would be at C3 because neither has enough skills yet to support it. Maybe bring back PoA at that circle.

You can do damage cap to monsters with just Full INT Transpose and Blood Curse. It does over 90k damage to players(PvP damage reduction should be around 50%).

There's little point in becoming a nuke when self buffs alone let you 1 hit KO full CON players. Specially now that Rhevisan was neutralized as threat to FFs.

Magic and ranged basic attacks from enemies no longer home in.

This isn't even a hard change either. Half the time enemies attack goes in a line that misses and the other half it homes in. Even magic missile is able to fly everywhere and miss, so I know it's just some extra thing making them home in. They even took the time to make them track you instead of just being an insta-hit.

Thus either that would be completely removed and basic attacks, as well as certain other ones like spiral arrow, would just fly to the space targeted instead of homing, or else they'd be able to be blocked by objects, other characters, etc.

rod is purely for matk clerics. vienamace outdps it until you push the rod to stage 3. stage 4 onward the rod is better

viena mace is a very good well-around weapon with ~900 matk, two slots and decent con, will carry you till you farm your orange weapon (this takes weeks of farm and two practoniums, kek)

The game is relatively popular for a f2p kmmorpg, especially for being solely on steam. The Japanese one is more populated due to having a queue at all though. However, as long as this game is not RO, people will just go "this isn't RO" and not play it. If It can be its own thing, it'll be good.

Besides that, I've had fun with this game for over a year. It's been years since I've played an MMORPG beyond its beta phase and into release. Probably the last was Cosmic Break, which is somehow still running despite being a shit game to end all shit games. That game was also like 80% populated and staffed by 4chan. I really don't get how it's still alive.

These won't make cannoneer top tier but it will help at least.

The kneeling shot thing is interesting. It really pigeon holes cannoneers as supposedly a dex type since kneeling adds dex as physical damage.


On another note,
I still believe damage in this game is just too high. They need to tone down lvl 280+ monster HPs and increase player defenses more while reducing damage.

Or is this just a case of people transcending weapons first and when armor pieces get transcended after it will be more balanced?
If that is the case then the transcending process needs to be streamlined and easier to do. It takes literal months to upgrade a weapon and you also need months to upgrade each piece of armor.
And then the NEXT PATCH HITS with RANK9/10. It feels like a waste.

I've seen lots of people taking literally 1 damage from magic except if the attacker has a 315 weapon lol (nuaeles, 315 shield, mdef ring on top of 70% mdef from ranks fucked up lots of spellcasters). for physical dps, well, the numbers are just too high. def mitigate A LOT and there's no aspersion 17 on pvp (ok it has sometimes, and crit helps bypass def too (but crit is very unrealible since full con characters have 500+ crit resist)

Blank lines are there to guide the eyes. It separates the ideas sorta like a page break of a paragraph. That one in particular looks like a hybrid 1str:2dex canoneer and even then it can easily almost reach the damage cap of 199,999 while not having high transcended weapons.

Meaning that the idea of transcendence actually hurts cannoneers a lot in regards to PvE where monsters don't have as much defense compared to players.
