Mostly a lot of haggling, patience, and I tend to hoard a lot shit or forget I have parts in my inventory. I screenshot it and put it together for you on my current shit.

You see, I don't usually sell individual parts, I mostly sell in sets, in turn, I get more profit that way. I don't get plat as fast as you guys, so it's mostly the waiting game acting like a Vulture.
Most of my inventory basically came from passively getting shit unintentionally.

I'm still pissed about that, I started the game, got Rhino Prime, and used him until Loki Prime was released. To this day Rhino Prime is still my top used frame even though I use him for a mission once every two months or so, and I'm fairly certain it hasn't gone down at all.

Navigator is pretty damn powerful believe it or not. With combination with Prowl, it can one shot few Eximus Units. Punch through helps it more. Though it's faults are the energy requirements from both ends. I only use Navigator in conjunction with Rakta Cernos, as the AOE happens as you are using it. In that Grineer Eximus sortie a few days ago, used the heck out of it, I got the most kills in there. Though I had to keep multiple UI elements in mind.

Equinox is a longer grind but not that terrible, the worst part is the increased crafting time. There are much worse frames to grind like Mesa and Nidus.

I like to take Excalibur as a vanilla example of all the different components on a warframe, I think the basic make-up of a warframe is the metallic growth that replaces normal flesh, similar to how we see it in Dark Sector, which isn't in fact canon for Warframe, but I think the process is very much still related. This metallic growth may be caused by a type of proto infestation, which originally may not have been an infestation, but nanotechnology to improve the host. Used by the Orokin to intentionally create Warframes, while the later Infestation was the same technology gone feral.

The outer layer of most warframes, the stuff that looks like rubber coating, may be just that, or something similar, a layer of artificial tissue to give it a cleaner look. Make it easier to maintain.

here in the picture I marked the coated parts in red and the bare metal skin/flesh in green.

Please note that this is just my theory and nothing to get angry about, only time will tell what they are made of, but it might be confirmed once the Helminth table gets exposition, my theory on that one is that it was used to repair the frames using the original proto infestation to replace damaged tissue, which over time has evolved into Helminth.
