Yeah I did. 5pb's games usually don't have furigana I think. Only unusual words seem to have it.

While I do think the animu VNs are the easier ones, I'd recommend that you consider waiting for gameplay videos to be out on youtube. Given the popularity, I can't imagine that no one will stream it, especially since it's on PS4 as well.

I'm guessing that the LE will not run out, though I can't be sure, but the shop bonuses very likely will. The regular DLC are usually still around for the first month I believe. In fact some shops still offer Usagi's DLC even now.

It's ridiculously hard to level up Okon for some reason, even though experience points are distributed equally among the party.

Okon started out as level 9 on my trip, and now she gain 2 levels.
Kojirouta started out as level 1, and now he's level 17. Literally how?

On a side note, I think mechanically Kojirouta has become my favourite NPC party member. He's super autonomous, which means I can just equip Growth bracelet, place myself in the center of the map, and skip time.
Kojirouta will wonder around the entire zone if a hostile enters the zone, it it's a hostile which tries to stay at distance, he will just kill them with the money bag ranged attack, this guy is plain awesome for this level up abuse.
And apparently he has super fast level up growth compared to Okon-chan.

I just hope it isn't money from my wallet he is throwing at the enemies.

My Kojirouta just died. I guess he really isn't that reliable yet until I give him more levels.
1 on 1, he managed fine, bu the enemy was 2 and they beat him up, one of them was a bee that retreated after each him and countered Kojirouta's ai. pretty hard.

Meanwhile Okon is trucking on, even though she only has 40 HP she hasn't died yet, and she's surprisingly good on guard duty since she fucks up the ai. with Confuse spell.
I just have to place her right at the entrance, and she Confuse the enemy as the first thing, even a Foly gets confused, and she will either wreck them or let them escape, only to come back and be wrecked again.

8 stars is kinda my maximum still, but perfecting even hard difficulty songs feels so good. The feeling when you know that you're on the final stretch and the perfect awaits. It's very satisfying. But in the same way, when you fuck up in the final stretch... It's not good.

Best classes depend on how you want to play. Party members can change classes at level 15 and 30, so you won't have to think about that for a bit. I've been running three melee attackers, an attack mage and support the past few hours and had a reasonable challenge, but it depends on what playstyle you like. Critical hits are (maybe) guaranteed to interrupt an enemy, but I just hit casting enemies physically because I think it works more effectively.

Phantom Delude works, the issue is that they made the timing for it to be very specific to be able to use reliably unless you memorize every single attack pattern.

It's way too risky to try and use constantly and I don't think spurting into the enemy while it's clearly going to attack is the best tactic anyway. They obviously have thought about the timing window being bigger, as you said it would just make the game way too easy if it was very easily done.

Oh my god, it's nearly fucking impossible to level up Koharu in Shiren.

I killed +80 creatures in her sword form by now, and she only has 1 out of 5 green bars filled to get to level 2.
In comparison, the others reached level 2 by killing maybe 5-10 enemies.

With Koharu I probably need to kill around 400 creatures to get her to level 2.

I had a little plan to level up Koharu in the first floor where enemies only do 1 damage, and Shiren regenerates with 1 damage per turn.
I wanted to turn Koharu inot my shield, because at 1 damage per hit, I can indefinitely tank the enemy hits an and they hit about twice a second when I skip time.

But as it turns out, Koharu's shield bar doesn't level up from being hit, she levels up from the enemies I kill.

Now I just need to figure out if it's the raw quantity of enemies, or if it's experience value the green weapons bar levels up with.

No, mixers are mainly for sigils or glyphs or whatever they're called on swords/shields. Tanuki pots can get you powerful bracelets though (play the lotto until you get them).

Most early game matching sword/shield combos (like beast sword/shield, katana/iron shield, etc.) will let you wear two bracelets.

Just tested it, the answer is no.

For reference, my Koharu is character level 2 and +14. She takes a shitlong time to upgrade and doesn't resonate with anything, so there's not a whole lot of reason to use her. I need to see if gambler scroll upgrades work on her, but I need a little more preparation to test that.

If you still want to abuse grass, I'd recommend making a "new" item out of it so you can buy it over and over again (though once per adventure).

Just hold of on gambler's scrolls until you get a blessing pot. I just did it quick and dirty with a savescum here, but ideally you'd use a blessing pot and extraction scrolls to read the same 5 gamblers scrolls a ton of times.

They didn't seem to be too rare going through the main dungeon? I seem to recall seeing them as early as the grass road leading up to the towers, but I could be wrong. You need to read scrolls before you can use a blank scroll on them.

Also see my above note, the upgrade effect is pretty uncommon so you're best off using a blessing pot and a full load of equipment to maximize your gain. Do it on floor 5 to block the floor warp effect, and don't drop any items nearby in case you get the explosion effect.

I just reaches Sparrow's Inn in my digital version, myself, and holy shit I forgot how strong the enemies were in the following floors. Those damn blade dragons are able to two-shot me even when I'm level 28. I guess it's time to upgrade equipment further. Thank god for the Sparrow Express.

Also, felt really freaking cool to use an Oil Scroll against Reeva, he just flat out went on top of it and stayed there spinning while me and Jirokichi tag-teamed his ass. It was wonderful.

Honestly the game would have been too tedious if there was no Sparrow Express. It was such a super relief when I found out I had acquired it.

Imagine me being underequiped,
Going through 5 floors of wood trails,
then 5 or 6 levels of Tower of Future,
then 3? or 5? levels out in the mountains after Hermit village,
then 14 floors of Tower of Fortune with insane day creatures and night creatures,
then a crazy mid-boss,
then another 10?-15? (I forgot) levels of Tower of Miracles.
THEN I finally reach Sparrows Inn.
That's what...40~50 floors of dungeon climbing before I get the Sparrow Express.
Imagine if I had lost hope along the way at floor 30 or something. I would have to start completely over. That's fucking brutal.

I feel that especially the Tower of Fortune is wayyyyy too long.
The road between Hermit's Village to Sparrow's in was just too insanely long, with no pitstops along the way.

That's right. Gambler's scrolls can be blessed for additional uses, but I'm fairly certain extraction scrolls don't work this way (at least my custom item's didn't, and guides call for many extraction scrolls). The two main ways you can get a ton of them is to either grind out points and make them from blank scrolls (if you've found one before), or grind a bunch from the tanuki shop if you have a custom item with the effect. I left more preservation pots with the scrolls off screen so they wouldn't get blown up in that screenshot.

A note on getting gamblers scrolls from those dungeons: I believe Inori cave is the only one that lets you use outside items (e.g. escape scrolls).

Regardless, you can grind items from any dungeon by just dying, go into the "waiting for rescue" state, then load the game to enter into a sort of "limbo". You can't leave the hall, but you can select dungeons from the counter. If you select the same dungeon you died in, then you'll be able to do that dungeon but it will only have as many floors as you reached before dying. In other words, if you went into primordial chasm, died on floor 5, then you can do floor 1-5 over and over in limbo and keep the stuff you get.
