Doesn't help that Blizz idea of good things to put in the game are two mechanics based around raw stats (and might I say, all Grimy Goons other than Paladin are PURE FUCKING GARBAGE), with one at least being hand buffing but the otheri s literally "hurr durr flood board".
The last is best tho, forcing the Reno meme. The only reaso nto run Reno is STILL reno, beucase his swing is huge, the other cards are literally, in this order, UP for Priest, useless for Mage, and literally, LITERALLY deterimental for Warlock.

Mastema is pretty much there to take down Ancient Elves and activated Aurelia but those aren't seen around a lot now. I'm pretty sure she's a dead card a lot of the time since you can only afford to play her when you have a big lead. She really seems like a card that's only good on curve and useless otherwise. I would just put in more 3 cost followers, Imp Lancers, or Demonic Strikes/Demon Storms for consistency.

Maid Leader is a 1/1. It doesn't contest many things now that forest is gone. And unless you drop her on T2, you will never be able to drop her at any other turn, which makes her a dead card. The pressure is insane, if you don't make power play into power play, you lose on the spot, you can't drop her in the mid-game, at all.

I played like 20+ games with olivia x1, and I was never able to drop her on the board. Not once. I don't think she's bad, I may add her back in the future, but within those 20 games, bahamut x1 carried like 3-4 of those. She can enable the 10-dmg face combo with Albert though, it's her main purpose I think.

Odin is useful against seraph and PTP. I haven't seen a single PTP hit the board since RoB, and I haven't lost to seraph amulet yet. It's a tech, if you encounter a lot of Seraphs, add him. I think it's a dead card. It can ban Elana and Draco Rites as well I guess, but .. meh.

Dance of Death gives reach, a hard removal and 2 dmg face is very good. I won a lot of games with DoD and I wouldn't play with anything else. Call of Cocytus is really good too, but I prefer the burn. Ruthless Assassin isn't playable imo. I should try Call of Cocytus, it might be really good.

About 2-drops, I have not much problems, but I'm lucky.

Alright, this is the list I've been trying on masters (6/4 on 10 games), without Otohimes but trying to rely on storm damage, in the end I don't think it pays off, you still need Otohime to generate card and board advantage, the fact that people have removal doesn't affect you that much because in the end you can still retain tempo. I think once the meta stabilizes it will be easier to build decks around it, right now everything is a cluster fuck and I can't bet on the usual Sword reliability.

I've tried Pamela with Taboo sensei and most of the time the results are the same, except now I don't even have golems to protect my ass while I do nothing for the first 4 turns.
I've tried going back to ptp and it's even worse.

Every second guy is running Bahamut which is an auto loss if you don't have petrify because you barely have followers.
