I've levelled 1-60 as Horde and 1-60 as Ally.

Without a slight doubt, Ally are by far the worst when it comes to ganking. Consistently ally gank in favours only in their hand, whether it be a 2v1, a 3v1, or simply a much higher level advantage. Consistentely as Horde I will recognise Ally go out of their way to kill someone at a lower level or when grouped up with others. Very very rarely did I come across a fair fight firstly initiated by an alliance character.

Horde on the other hand, while the same did occur, it wasn't as often and nor did it occur as much. Truly speaking, 1v1 and fair condition fights occurred more levelling as an ally then did as Horde.
I levelled in the same areas for the most part as well.

tl;dr, Ally are sad gankers who only kill when in favourable conditions with no threat of death.

I am a 60 priest on nost and i know, you want damage items. We all do. You can get around this by making a group yourself and try to only invite Melee dps/Hunters. Or when a caster ask to join, inspect them, or look up their profile and check their gear so you can see if you'll be able to take loot they dont need.

Note I never play shadow pvp. I wear heavy damage gear and hit people with fat Smite and Holy Fire crits.

The 5 gold respec on Kronos was actually a feature I'd like on Nost. They could add an option for players to disable this feature and have the Blizzlike 50 gold respec fee if they liked.

I'd donate for a dual spec or cheaper respec option so I could do battlegrounds without having to buy gold for a respec.

Yeah, Nost is a lot more grindy than retail (and I mean current - my friend thinks post-Cata WoW is "grindy"), but I don't think that's his real issue (he used to play RuneScape). Retail feels more "grindy" while leveling because no one, especially Blizz, cares about it. It serves no purpose. You're just waiting for the real game to start. Vanilla doesn't "start at max level", leveling is a big part of the game, with a lot more social interaction.

It's not the same as dual spec though, you can easily spend much more respeccing at 50g each opposed to the one time 1,000g for dual spec.

So I had an idea while i was in the shower this morning.

Why don't we have a single guild for both the fresh and old server?

This is how I imagine it will go:

>start on fresh grinding to 60, gearing up, full clearing mc and ony for a month or two until everyone is geared

>switch to old server and do AQ40 gearing up and experiencing the raid for a couple of months

>switch back to fresh server and do bwl

and so on.

Here are the pros of doing this:

>A single guild so we don't split the general into seperate the community into different guilds

>get to experience vanilla raiding and pvp on two different classes if you want to

>stops the debate between fresh and old servers

>could also have the fresh guild and old guild have different factions for people who want to experience horde and alliance

What is the best tanking hunter pet? I know that anything can growl and tank for a bit and the BM talents are going to make them buff, but i mean the "best".

I think you're right and wrong. There are definitely a ton of chinks who are just playing normally (if awfully) but most of them definitely buy gold or have friends who buy gold and/or know gold sellers. It's ridiculous how common it is for them.
Anyone can go make a few chink friends while leveling and ask them, most don't give a shit and some don't even know gold selling/buying is against the rules.
For chinks, if you have the real life cash, it's totally normal to buy gold (why not, right? skip to the "fun" part of the game). If you're poor, you farm instead.

The majority of normal playing chinks are not only buying gold, but look at us and just assume we're poor IRL because we don't.

The best tank pet is the one that can actually keep aggro, so even though turtle is theoretically good for tanking due to high armor they have jack shit for damage so it's pretty impossible for them to tank. That's my experience playing hunter though from vanilla retail, maybe there's some special snowflake mob that makes a good tank.

I can't remember the pet family stats off the top of my head so I would just find that pet spreadsheet and get the one with good damage that isn't a total wet noodle on defense.

Thats assuming it will open, so far its just another Corecraft, same with Gummy's server. Rolling on fresh to escape the chinese is a foolish endeavor since its their fucking job to play this game and they'll go where the players are. On top of that you'll have more Pottus and Ajinns policing the server and colluding with the yellow menace. I'd play Hellground fresh if not for the x2 and x3 exp, seriously no one fucking wants that. I just went back to Kronos. No lag, no chinese, also they're merging the servers and releasing Naxx this year. What I find funny is the general attitude towards Kronos. It got shit on constantly back when Nost was up and I thought it was pretty funny back then too. Then after Nost went down all it's players went to Kronos. Now Nost is back up and has only gotten worse, yet people still shit on Kronos despite the fact that it's code is on par with Nost and it's been going strong for almost two years now and guess what? Having a 15k pop, half of whom are chink gold sellers, is not the private server standard. I'd consider a 1k-2k pop a success, especially given how niche this whole "legacy scene" is. I honestly don't understand why people fanboy so hard over these servers, you don't pay for them and they haven't given you any reason to whiteknight them so much.

horde have been such a dominating force this WSG weekend, PuG vs PuG it's been around an 80% win rate for horde.

This leads me to question the maturity of each factions, horde pugs work together, only sometimes turtle in mid, support the FC and report the location of the EFC.

Ally pugs on the other hand go in to the FR alone, fight in mid non-stop, and rarely, if ever respond to instructions.
