I need some advice on some fairly decent decent Custom Gears I rolled or horded over the last few days.

6 Obelisk

IGB, Fire Damage 23.8% , and 140% Attack: Should I use this on Hellstorm or wait until I get an Invincibility or Recovery Proc? I definitely think IGB is necessary. Especially for ABX days.

Defense Penetration 28.6%, Critical Rate 24.9%, and HP below 50%, Invincibility 5 sec.: I was thinking about throwing this on Proxima. I don't know if I should hold out for an attack proc. Is there anyone better suited for this one?

Defense Penetration 22.5%, Dodge 23%, and HP below 50%, 10% HP Recovery: I feel like this should be good on someone, but as of who, I have no idea.

Defense Penetration 29.5%, Mind Damage 33.1%, and 300% Energy Damage: I believe the AOE proc on this one isn't stellar at all, right?

5 Obelisk

Snare Resist, Recovery Rate 51.7%, and HP below 50%, 5% HP Recovery: Moon Knight for ABX? I do have another obelisk on Thanos that is: Snare Resist, Recovery Rate 75%, and HP below 40%, Invincibility 3 sec. Is this one much more suited for Moon Knight instead? Hard to decide if the the Recovery Rate is or isn't better than the Invincibility proc.

IGB, Mind Damage 35.3%, and HP below 40%, Invincibility 2 sec.: Super Giant is my next BO character. I know she gets guard broken a lot, but I'm not sure if the invinciblity proc is worth it.

4 Obelisk

Cold Damage 25.7%, Recovery Rate 37.2%, and HP below 50%, 5% HP Recovery: I want to use this for Loki, who currently has an old school 100% recovery rate gear. I presently have IAAG on him/her and don't plan on changing it. I will also bump him/her to T2 in a month or so (not a high target of mine).

IGB, Defense Penetration 15.5%, and 100% Attack: Not sure if this is even worth the discussion.

No, Hellstorm doesn't need GBI at all. I'm doing absolutely fine without it. Go for recovery rate and invincibility shield (preferably 4-5 seconds) instead.

If I play careful enough, I can avoid being guard broken with Hellstorm. I guess recovery and invincibility is something I should look out for. The thing that's holding me back on him is the lack of a shield or recovery. Once I drop down, I need to avoid shit and consume time until his iframes and immunity can be used again.

Bummer on the MK thing, though. I thought a high recovery ends up maxing his HP.

There's one guy that makes a new tier list for every update, and it's ALWAYS awful but he keeps doing it.

I'm leaning towards something like character level cap increased to 70 to match the SHIELD level cap, however first the character must be T2. It'd broaden the gap between T1 and T2, making them feel stronger than usual and maybe even allow for the shit T2s to be usable due to the stat boosts from level 70. But then that could mean level cap increase for BO/HIM/Odin and I don't even want to think about how many bios that'd take.
Unless the characters don't level up with exp (or bios) and it's some new gimmick.

Superior Spider-Man is the most prominent example, I think. Although you need to invest resources on him, he goes from zero to almost hero and being able to defeat one of the early Shadowland floors.

Elsa is one of the most drastic improvements as it changes her most damaging skill into a highly damaging beam. Kingpin used to be but thanks to how Shadowland floors work he isn't as good anymore.

My personal list is:

Didn't include Loki because his uniform isn't that much of an improvement, but it certainly makes him more versatile in the content he can complete, and Winter Soldier Captain America because you need to have perfect coordination to get all the potential out of his uniform

None of the changes they made in the update really changed the effectiveness of her kit at all because all they did was slap some i-frames on two skills that you're generally not going to use anyways. With max SCD, you can pretty much just keep using her 1*-2*s back to back. She's still the same glass cannon she's always been, but that's not a bad thing.

Venom is quite different from Iron Fist m8, he doesn't have any native invincibility, dodge or i-frames. Making him useful for Shadowland requires a recovery set unless you have even better reflexes than the ones you need for BuckyCap to dodge every attack they throw at you

Glass cannons don't work in Shadowland unless it's Proxima Midnight that has the kit to fuck up people even though she has a lack of i-frames. It's not like Venom is useful for any content other than a shadowland floor. Glass cannons have never been useful on this game and never will. Even Netmarble knows this and gives characters like Green Goblin guaranteed dodge in order to artificially increase their survivability. Here's how healing sets on glass cannons go

Heal sets don't work on glass cannons because they are still glass, at best you'll get 1 (one) heal which will be a quarter of their health, unless of course you put recovery rate on their obelisk which is a waste. If you want to give them any survivability the only reasonable choice is to put a invincibility obelisk on them, that's actual survivability.

She is really solid. Her T2 passive is great. Her moveset, once you get past garbage 4th attack, is a lot of fun when you get a hold of it. Also, as a Spider, she is pretty great against Sharon in timeline and, thanks to multihit webs and 5th attack and natural immunity to web, she can also help against Silk. Can pretty much solo most of World bosses, as long as you are not just running straight into their attacks (except Dwarf and iThanos).
Kinda weak as a striker in WB and, while not bad, you have better choices in Shadowland. She can solo early floors, but don't expect her to solo everything of the high level.

They're scarce as fuck. I consider myself a good player; in 6 hours I will have 15 T2 characters and 21 characters ready for a T2 upgrade. But out of those 36 characters, only 5 (Wasp, Iron Fist, Satana, Yellowjacket, Thor) have invincibility obelisks. Worst of all, 2 seconds-3 seconds invincibility is completely worthless. Your only good choice was Thor, if you have iron fist at t2 with a uni you have zero need for survivability, especially if you capped his dodge. That's 2 (two) to 4 (four) ''extremely rare'' obelisks you just wasted.

How do I into shang-chi? I used my SL selectors for a few weeks now to 6* him under the assumption he was a good character even at T1.

What I'm seeing so far, he's pretty shit tbqh. He is decently durable, but even maxing his 3* skill and giving him an attack set his damage is absolutely garbage. Is he meant to beat beat a SL floor past the first 1? What am I doing wrong with him? he just seems really mediocre
