Is here a modder? I have an idea that may be feasible. The fact that there is no animation that leaves you vulnerable when you consume a healing item is really dumb. A way to fix that could be using the animation of the lantern when you consume something (even better if the lantern animation is slowed down a little). Those are the best animations of All Time.

This game's romance system is the most retarded thing I've ever seen in my life. I did all the quests for Selene, big tit merchant girl, Mercedes, and the Duchess. I wanted to make sure Mercedes was my girl so I gave her like 20 Cloudwine before completing her questline. I go to the dragon at the end. The dragon has some random little boy I don't recognize. It turns out to be Valmiro or whatever the fuck his name is. I choose to fight the dragon, I kill it. A cutscene plays where I rest at a campfire and Valmiro comes and comes over and gives me a loving embrace and then he moves into my house. I had to beat him up so he'd run away afterwards. I didn't even realize this little faggot was a possible romance, I just did some random side quest for a random character and apparently that's enough to make my huge viking barbarian warrior a faggot

Check the owner info. If the owner is high level they killed off their pawn to keep it low for more rents. If they have an absurd number of hours played they used a mod to reset their level and kept all their old gear. If they are both low level and low hours played then they more than likely cheated. Some people will make claims about sending over cursed stuff to their alts to mass purify but that's a load of horseshit that would take way too long for little benefit when they could just cheat to make it quick.

How much does level matter? I found a mage pawn I really like, she only buffs and heals, I don't know if a higher level buffer will necessarily be better

First-time player here. I just fought Salomet but I have no idea how I won.
I was grinding Warrior augments so I had no ranged attacks, leaving me running to his location just for him to keep teleporting away. I didn't get a single hit in. Then, suddenly, a cutscene plays and he dies.

What happened? Did one of m pawns get a single hit in and that did him in?

Probably. If your ranged pawns get his health down to 0 before he can finish his dialogue he'll just do his stuff normally with empty healthbar and then once his speech is over he'll suddenly jump to a cutscene of his death.

Purification isn't too bad, it's kind of a tacked on system to pad the playability of BBI, which isn't a totally bad thing. Could've been done much better for sure.

As for pet peeves, probably the way stat growth works. Would've been much better to give players the ability to choose how they want to build, rather than having to spend time as a class so they can then play as the actual class they wanted in a more effective manner.

Been here since almost the start and never seen anyone get banned for speaking english. Left for most of this year and came back just now and the people who i've seen there before I left are still there speaking english in the shout channel over in the supposedly dead english world so i'm gonna say thats bs. I've played the game briefly before and I know that stat growths are a big deal but from how a friend explained it to me, if I want to play a pure wizard I have to play just about everything except wizard a shit load. Am I misunderstanding or is there any way around this?

I'm not sure what your friend was trying to say, but the game encourage playing with different vocations to get some usefull augments, after getting them you can use those with any vocation you want.

Just entered post game after roughly a 30 hour first playthrough. Missed some quests and minor zones, so NG+ is probably happening.

This game was incredibly good and I was expecting much less than what I actually got for the $12 that I spent on it. I'm a little mad that console plebs had exclusive access,and that us Mustards had to wait so long to be able to play it.

Do I really have to grind the Everfall/Bitterblack now, though? I'd rather not turn the game into a single player mmo. What else is left to do?
