it's all personal preference, there isn't really a "wrong" sensitivity (though its generally recommended that you have a sensitivity fast enough to at least do a 180 comfortably, maybe a 270 in TF2's case)
find whatever you're comfortable with and stick with it

however, if you're still curious and want to put in some effort into finding the right sensitivity then you should experiment
and when i mean experiment i mean experiment with large (but not extreme) changes in sensitivity instead of slight ones
spend at least a game or so with each test sensitivity, don't start doubting yourself that what you're doing is dumb or bad just because you get into very uncomfortable territory, let yourself try something weird/new
after a decent amount of different tests you will find what you find suitable

Valve seems awefully keen on spending as much time as possible doing as little as possible.
So getting a bunch of community made hats and maps alongside one valve made map, and then a couple weapon rebalances and some dumb changes to pyro after a year and a half of development seems accurate.

The only weapons that work properly with inspections are stock weps (since only stock weps have skins), meaning reskins and unlocks may or may not clip with hands. They would have to redo a lot of the inspect animations to make them work with all weapons.

Man, I found out about some useful gems in some classes, give a try:
>Scout - Backscatter
I know everyone loves Soda Popper or stock Scattergun, but if you can sneak around and use backtrack flank routes this thing becomes a beast.
It drops Medic, Spy or Demo easily once you decide to sting them. Larger spray is a downside, but if you can maintain the route at higher floors it's not a big deal at all. Spraying pockets from behind can be fun
>Demoman - Scottish Resistance:
I know it's worse than SBL at close combat, but setting stickies at different gates is a great comfort. You can reliably stickyjump without minding the traps you laid before.
I suggest more than one sticky shots at close range combine with your GL shots, abuse the extra 25% fire rate and slower prime time; try to keep distance and flick charged shots at range.

By the way, Shotgun and FB are great way to duke it out against Demoman as a Heavy. Also think about pesky air divers like Spy and Pyros for better reaction time.
Not loud like Minigun but still gets the job done, if you're choked back into a low valley, switching to Shotgun may save your arse.
