It's not because Nintendo has got some really talented programmers that they are able to send the homebrew information, it's the homebrew devs that can't be arsed to enable (or disable rather) a flag that the information gets sent.

I'm so frustrated with my Vita.

I've never had a problem with Maidumptool before, but I'm trying to add the voice acting DLC to World of Final Fantasy and i just get:

"Error: the game for the DLC is not installed"

When I do have the game installed.

I've re-transferred and re-installed WoFF 3-4 times now. I get the same message when trying to install the patch the one time when I tried not pre-patching. I've re-installed maidumptool to the latest version. I've got the latest version of henkaku. What's the deal? I was able to install the game and some of the other (non-voice acting) DLC several weeks ago. I uninstalled all that and tried again for the voice acting and nothing.

Maidumptool doesn't recognize that I have the game installed. Any help /hbg/? I've spent hours searching the internet and I can't find anyone with this issue.

So with Ohana3DS, how do I get the files it supports from games?

Sigh, does anybody know what firmware should I put on pic related?
The sticker says it's "R4 SDHC", not "R4i SDHC" or any "3DS RTS" one. I've tried the original R4 firmware, Wood and multiple other ones from the internet. Every time I boot the NDS it hangs on the loading screen.
I'm using 4gb microSDHC card that came with my N3DS, tried formating to FAT and FAT32, but it didn't help.
I think it might be damaged, but if some of you have the same card, please share me the firmware. Thanks a lot.

pure speculation seeing as how the person who discovered the exploit won't release it and didn't tell people what method was used to pull it off. as far as updating a9lh goes it rarely gets updated and the process of updating it is fairly simple. Lumaupdater can be launched and updated at any time as many times as you want and no harm will come from it.

Right now, I own N3DS with a9lh installed, that was not in use since last ~4-5 months or something. During summer I followed your advice to overcome my fear and do proper CFW installation, but I couldnt overcome fear of using FreeShop or even FunKeyCIA. Thus, I never even installed a single .cia game.

But lately I heard about this new incoming stuff, Sighax as well as FreeShop being taken down.

Should I prepare to do some major replacement, like people had to with rxtools in the past? Or devices with a9lh will remain fully functional? And what about the current state of .cia games, possibility of Nintendo detecting people using/installing them and sources for downloading?

you have a titlebin file on your nand. this file contains title keys to games that you own. if a encrypted title key for a game is present that key will act like a certificate and entitle you to eshop access to download the game.
