Mirage is a quest frame, we can't taxi you. Don't spend plat on normal frames. It might seem slow at the start, but You'll soon realize you'll have more frames than you know what to do with and you'll want to save plat for slots and trading with players.

Hek? This is what I use. Needs a few Forma, but every single one is worth it, and I still think that the shotgun overall feels better to use than the syndicate version.

Hell's Chamber, Scattered Justice are mandatory for your multishot.

Two elemental mods, Blaze, Point Blank, and Accelerated Blast to just stack raw damage. (I made sure to put on Corrosive just for general purpose usage, you should obviously tool the weapon for who you're up against but Corrosive is the "I don't want to respec for every enemy" combo.) 10%/2x isn't good enough to build for crit, and while the status chance looks decent simply because of the massive amount of multishot, there's no point in speccing for it because anything you land a solid hit on should just fucking die. 70% is good enough for proccing on the few bosses that can survive it and are actually vulnerable to procs.

This leaves exactly one mod slot for flexible purposes. Some people will recommend Vicious Spread, which will increase your damage up close as well as increase your ability to deal collateral damage to small groups (although your damage to single targets at range will mostly stay the same). Personally, I prefer Chilling Reload to greatly increase my QoL with regards to having to constantly reload the 4-shot magazine.

Just came back after quitting when Inaros came out.

Only 2 frames and like 5 weapons, the fuck is even new? This statue shit just seems like a stupid grind and this riven mod shit is "Grind Harder- The Goyening" and even then it only makes a few DE approved shit-weapons barely less shit from what I understand. I fail to see how getting like 20 more crit on your akvasto is going to make it better than a fucking sonicor.

This latest frame is literal power creep as well isn't it? He has Vauben vortex grenade but better on a 2 with scaling damage skills on all the rest and le "oops I died let me free revive and nobody knows the difference" let alone the new primary just oozes fucking power creep. It has like 3 unique abilities that should by all rights be MODS but nope they're just default to the gun.

Why did I come back? What is there to even do now besides unlock all these fucking junctions even though I have the entire star map unlocked but somehow it doesn't count that I've done all the shit needed to unlock them?

Hek because a huge shotgun represents the proverbial big guns of the United States. I'd alternatively use the Dex Sybaris as a Winchester lever-action rifle except for the part where I missed it, the Grinlok is an ugly piece of shit, and the standard Sybaris felt lackluster to me.

Akmagnus to fit the cowgirl look. Transitioning into Peacemaker straight from Akmagnus feels great as a bonus.

The katana I'm not happy about. I shoulder holstered it to try and hide its distinctive scabbard behind the cape and I use the two-handed stance because I think it looks the least weeb of the three stances available. I'm trying to find a more "American" melee weapon but frankly there's not really a traditionally American/Western one, not without Native American one handed tomahawks. (The Dual Zoren are a bit too large and ostentatious.)

Ayatan statues aren't shit you grind, the WEEKLY mission with a guaranteed statue at the end is just a nice bonus. They literally just randomly appear around the map, any map, in the place of the usual breakable barrel as a bonus, and yes, they appear on loot radar - with the same breakable barrel icon. They're designed to act as a small incentive to slow down and peer around the map a bit, and while no one sane will divert from their pathway to the objective/exit purely to search for Ayatans, spotting a sculpture in between bullet jumps makes you feel great for catching it in the corner of your eye.

Nidus isn't overpowered at all, except on DEAC. Having a DPS power that matters is a major step forward, not power creep - the animation windup makes it only on par at best with the guns players take for granted. Powers that compete with guns for usefulness is a good thing, not bad. Same with the gun, it has a bunch of cool looking abilities but distinctly sacrifices base damage for them. It doesn't do anywhere near the pure dps that the established weapons already deal... which is fair, because it has unique abilities beyond pure dps.

Riven mods were a potentially good idea executed ridiculously horribly. They supposedly would fit into weapons to replace a less useful mod to emphasize some feature of the weapon over the others, except for the part where a lot of weapon builds don't want to lose a single one of their eight mods. 99% of the time the mod is so underwhelming you wouldn't even consider it over a normal mod, and 1% of the time the mod is fucking broken as shit overpowered which makes you feel forced to throw your time at it, JUST IN CASE you won the riven lottery.

You're right on riven mods being cancer but for everything else you talked about, there have been some massive steps forward, and thinking differently is just trying to be cool and like things the way they used to be because they were how things were back in YOUR day, damn it.

I still dont' get this Endo shit either, but it looks like they normalized fusion which is good, because it only costs me like 10k endo to finish my Vitality instead of like another 56 R5 cores, which at first I panicked all my cores were gone but I saw I have like 35k of this endo shit in my inventory.

The gun has lower base stats you say? Or is it just that the new gun just doesn't have Top tier gun stats? Cuz if you ask me it looks pretty fucking good for a new gun with like 4 passive abilities that aren't mods. Especially when the gun to compare it to is the Paracyst which has like half the damage, half the status and like 2% crit more. And no special abilities.

Every frame got a passive, although as with all things some of the passives floating around are way better than others.

Generally the improvement of a Prime correlates to its initial strength. Frost is so damn good (that massive boatload of armor goes a long way) that it got very little with its Prime version, while Volt got so heavily buffed to reward people for going ham while using its shields and turbo buff aggressively. Polarities are just Formas and leveling, the former of which you should be crafting one of every 24 hours and the latter of which takes less than an hour on the right maps.

Endo is literally just more granular fusion cores, which is good, it's easier to balance out and regulate.

The Hema is a Good (tm) weapon because it offers a lower-damage alternative to the big-dick meta-tier guns with its special abilities. It's not power creep unless the best (and most commonly used) weapons are eclipsed. I agree that it would have been better for them to redesign/buff an existing weapon into the Hema rather than try and sell it from scratch, but we'll take what we can get. It's better than them making a completely forgettable weapon that literally no one will use beyond mastery fodder.

Have every planet unlocked, and preferably have as much nodes unlocked/available.

Also, it's good to have a lot of different warframes, as many of them serve specific roles for Sorties
Frost: Globes are really good for Mobile Defense, rest of his abilities are nice CC for slowing enemies down
Nova: Recommended to have for every sortie, as you can slow enemies down to an almost complete stop, 1 shot most enemies, have a flying nuke, and can teleport slowfags along the map
Ivara: Good stealth, useful for escorting rescue targets, amazing in Defense
Loki: Disarm all enemies, god-tier Spy frame
Limbo: Decent in Defense, god-tier in Rescue
Banshee: Good in Exterminates, or missions where high damage is required.
Inaros: Pretty good. Can't die if you play him correctly
Ash: Pretty good in Exterminates, DO NOT BRING TO RADIATION SORTIES
Zephyr: Not used much, but she can help in reviving team-mates, and she;s basically invincible to everything except melee, flamethrowers, and bombards in tight areas

There's more frames to cover, but I'm lazy and most Warframes have at least one use in Sorties, even Oberon has a use in Radiation sorties
