From personal experience:

EZ mode:

Assault - MP 18 Trench - hipfire instadeaths
Medic - Mondragon Storm - slices like a knife through butter
Support - MG15 (any variant, my preference is the storm) - heavy duty firepower with big magazine sizes

Pick 1, but make sure you use the gadgets for your teams advantage, ESPECIALLY if you play medic. Throw pouches down and revive. Easy points.

As for sidearms, Auto revolver for Medic, 1903 hammerless for Assault and Repetierpistole m1912 for support.

Run gas or incendiary

Crossbow for support with AMMO

Medic - POUCH AND SYRINGE

Assault - AT Rocket gun and Anti-tank grenade. AT nade is a beginners best friend.

Gas is better because even if there isn't an enemy there (especially in a capture zone), an enemy may run into the gas cloud alerting you to enemies nearby and also potentially killing them if they are weak in health.

Yes, as long as you choose ONE and stick to it til you git gud. Stick to one class until you are consistently getting 1+ KD ratios. Then try another class and do the same, and again, and again. Then choose your favourite class and try out the guns you haven't tried. Git gud with those and repeat with other classes. Is the selb 1906 worth using at all? My go to medic gun has been the Autoloading 8 .35 factory since I was like rank 3 which after learning and just getting a better feel for the gun I grew to really love, and with the 1906 the ammo capacity is the same and therefor doesn't bother me but is the actual gun good at all or should I just skip it?

Yeah I know, I use the Mondragon storm quite a bit too and the sniper a little less but I just have more fun with the Autoloading 8 factory. I know it isn't the best (far from it) but it's just fun.

Don't like the selb 1916 too much tbqh, I prefer the mondragon to it in nearly every way. It just bounces around too much for me whereas with the Mondragon you can magdump with decent accuracy fairly easily compared to the Selb. The Mondragon also reloads plenty fast if you shoot and reload in intervals of 5 so you're using stripper clips instead of single loading

the bar is really powerful but it requires a different playstyle since it's hard to get more than 2 or even more than 1 kill per mag. you have to be careful not to get overwhelmed by multiple enemies. luckily, support has infinite grenades for exactly those moments where you need crowd control to cover your reloads

i find the bar telescopic one of the most consistent and easy to use weapon in the game. the firerate is excellent, the damage dropoff is minimal, the accuracy is superb, the recoil is perfectly manageable once you get used to it, it has a bipod for the moments where you need it and best of all it has a scope compared to the shitty irons that bounce around everywhere

it has similar attributes to the autoloading, except it has consistent 3 shots to kill while the autoloading needs 4 shots after like 40 meters.

Been trying to get back into Starwars Battlefront after a few months of not playing. The 23 gig patch (Patch 1.11) will stop at around 5.7 gigs and then throws up a 'Corrupt Data, Can't Download' error message with an additional CE-362449-9 Error Code. It's done this repeatedly several times already.

It's not my connection and none of my other games have an issue downloading there respective updates.

Anyone else thoroughly enjoy the Benet Mercie? I really like the reload animations and the iron sights. It also has the best recoil of any of the lmgs. Although it has the lowest rate of fire, but that helps the accuracy of the gun so that goes hand in hand.

Dont know about SEA but in Aus/NZ it seems pretty popular. Though, I notice alot (maybe 50%) of each server has a rank implying they just purchased the game recently or recieved it for christmas. Maybe 10 full servers last night, if I had to guess. I don't think that many players are super good either, I can consistently get top 5 in my games as long as I'm not playing scout. Dunno about delux-ultimate. The game does feel a little sluggish to me compared to BF4, but it wasnt enough to turn me off straight away like BF3 was. You type like a reddit user by the way.

On the other hand, the times where you are the scrub, just not playing well and unable to get shit done you tend to file away that round a lot further back in your mind to be forgotten.

It's and old ego-boost system people have in their head, something evolution has equipped us with to be better able to cope with failure when we let our hunting party/warband/group of tribesmen down.

It's the rushed US M1918 Cahuchat version of the gun, redesigned for the US .30-06 cartridge and considered one of the worst guns ever.

Apparently they were kicked out of the door with incorrectly sized chambers that were cut just a little too short meaning the neck of the cartridge case was jammed too tightly into the end of the chamber, when shot it'd stick in the chamber and have its rim ripped off by the extractor. Not sure about gas. How many first damage tick does? 30 hp? It also travel through walls and don't shown on minimap. So low hp dude will be insta-killed by this without time to react (gas thrown outside of building, turn over corner into cloud etc). Pretty much, they even stretched the fuck out of it - the vast majority of weapons are/were prototypes, blueprints, etc.

They've really gone back to basics because of this, so no, there aren't many gimmicks such as the MAV. Support and Medic still heal and replenish ammo the same. There is also still mortars.

Static field guns, AA emplacements, HMG's, etc have a bigger role because of this as well.

Behemoths are interesting, but not the game changing thing as advertised - it won't turn the tide of a complete stomping.

But if you still want to play a support role, be it support itself or medic, there's tons of ways to do it and a severe lack of people who bother to

Battlefield 4 is trying to take input from my controller that isn't plugged in. And when I plug it in it works fine, but when I unplug it it acts like it's still plugged in and I still can't use my mouse and keyboard to control my character, M&KB works fine in the menu, but without the controller I can't even pause the game. They are always shooting people from miles away , everytime I die at a contested point I am yet to see a Medic nearby , meanwhile if you are hillniggering a medic will revive you within half a minute

Worst are the medics who use the class exclusively for firefights because they like having a weapon that can be used for sniping and in case an assault finally makes it to them, because those are the kind of medics who know absolutely nothing about their role and are likely to throw a medpack at your dead body and smugly leaving expecting you to be revived any minute

Do not stop moving. If you just swung your sword at a guy and missed then do not make a u-turn because in that time he can unload a full mag of whateverthefuck into you. Just learn the maps bit by bit and find ways to go through the enemy firing line either from the side of the back.

You can't swing at prone people, but you can trample them

You can toss your ammo and medbag while running. If you're low on health get yourself a safe distance and either dismount to throw a bag to yourself or toss one down and run over it with your horse.

You have 2 light tank grenades on a pretty short restock timer. If you missed someone with your saber consider throwing your 2 grenades behind you

I've had a few times where dying in Battlefield has felt kinda neat.

Usually when you're trying to defend a point with just a few of you while you see an overwhelming enemy force charging towards you, picking off people one by one as you try to take as many of them as you can with you.

Bonus points if you blow yourself up with C4/Grenades and take 2-3 guys with you when you're definitely going to die.

Shame it doesn't happen often due to squad spawning though, and often your fun is cut short by tanks.
