No. Definitely not. Especially if you're still learning mid and/or are new to the game.

He's one of the hardest champions to master and he was gutted a few months ago, he's bad now unless you happen to have A LOT of experience with the champion and aren't laning against any mobile, gap-closing assassins.

He's an amazing champ from both a kit, voice, lore and visual perspective imo, but his stats are just dogshit right now and Riot STILL won't allow him to double-q as a mean to stop assassins from deleting him.

From what I know about masteries its all in the cs and Jinx is very very very very good at cs'ing. Aim at least above 200. Be involved in team fights and objectives the more objectives in your name the better. A for sure S for me tends to look: 200+ cs with above 10 kills at least anything better than this is good. Always look for cs'ing opportunities hoard that shit like it's crack. that's all I got though. S's come naturally to me for her at this point I don't even know what I do all I know is is that cs'ing is key.

He's a great champion. Before his gutting from a few months ago, he was secret OP and rewarded highly-skilled players who were willing to master him. /lolg/ thought he was dogshit for the longest time thanks to his high skillcap, that is until he started seeing LCS and Korean play.

But because he's so strong in LCS or Korean plays with pros, yet isn't isn't popular with a majority of the playerbase due to his high skill cap, he was gutted. He basically became the new Azir, and it's sad. But unlike Azir, his kit isn't extremely overloaded and he has blatant weaknesses, so he was spared, somewhat.

Hence his winrate is at 49% instead of something abysmal like 45% or lower. So he isn't THAT bad despite the circumstances, but he's definitely become a niche pick now, and not a good choice to learn mid.

Maybe you can learn him later down the line, when you have much more experience with the role.

the best way to get better at TF is to just play the game more and understand why TF is so good, focus on farming and abusing your roams with and without your ult

A defensive support mage that is inspired from Lux/Karma and Overwatch's Sombra

Laeta, the Magical Student

Background: An optimist at heart and a student mage as well as a wanderer, Laeta comes from the slums of Zaun with the desire to travel to Demacia and learn more about magic. Along the way she's opted to use her powers to aid others and scale down conflict.

Passive:
Safety First: After using a spell she gains a shield based off her amount of mana. Goes on cool down after being procd

Q:
Reverence: Laeta throws a chain onto either enemy or ally causing different effects. On an enemy it will damage them while its linked to them and after a while root them. On an ally it will heal them while its connected and once done offers a speed boost for a short time. Laeta can move while casting Reverence.

W:
Change of Scenery: Laeta marks the ground with a magical sign and after a short channel/delay teleports herself a short/medium distance of length. When she arrives to her destination she will automatically proc Safety First. Change of Scenery can also fit one or two more people in it they will also gain the shield upon reaching destination.

E:
Defensive: To cut a lot of unnecessary explanation; it works identically to Yasuo's windwall but appears after a small delay.

R:
Quiet! Nullify!: Laeta uses her magic to create a massive aoe silence. Anyone within melee distance of her will be stunned. Laeta can move while casting it.

It's fine, but to be honest, I think, for when the tether it connected to an ally, it should speed them up during the duration and THEN heal them when it ends. It seems weird to have the movement speed boost, which is used for escaping or chasing an enemy, only occurs AFTER the duration, not when you need it most.

In addition, Riot has said the reason they don't have any supports with heal-over-time effects is because, in their words, it feels too "invisible." Having the heal as a burst instead makes it more easier to recognize.

It's too similar to Ryze's ultimate, in my opinion. Obviously the range is shorter and you can't teleport as many people, but this is an effect that is way too powerful to have on a basic ability, in my opinion. It's a game changing ability.

...kind of boring. I would really recommend replacing it with a damaging ability. Laeta's only damaging ability is her Reverence, and even then, you might rather target an ally with it instead.

This is a channeled ability, I assume? Like, Laeta channels, during which she can move, and when the channel completes, nearby enemies are silenced? I would suggest giving damage to it and removing the stun effect.
