Which is the best tactical (in your opinion) and why?
I like using Stim since you can use it as both a preventative measure for evading people/titans or as an offensive one for closing 30 feet in half a second and knocking someone's block off.

phase shift. it has too many uses and works equally well against both pilots and titans, plus has two charges by default. just stole a battery? phase and get to safety. works as a panic button in pilot combat, though not 100% because of latency. makes fighting a titan as a pilot much easier, giving you time to reload and position yourself. and ctf. it is so broken in CTF, i dont know if they intended that or not but if you are fast enough, you can almost guarantee a cap with phase shift and tactikill. you can phase out of otherwise fatal/near fatal situations such as getting lit up in a scorch trap or trapped in a gstar about to get blown up by an EPG. removes arc nade effects, allowing you to run full speed to safety.

I've been playing all day and the competition is fucking rank, I have only seen a single non-hitscan weapon and it was an epg guy with three kills. Console variety consists of devotion, r201, hemlock, volt and car. They can't go fast at all, barely even wallrunning. Tone and legion are the only titans to exist.

Honestly, the way I usually end up dealing with pilot turrets is that they've got a very unique sound when they fire, so when I hear that I will flank around the area to get out of their FOV. If you can get close, it's only 1 melee, or 5 grenades from the MGL.

Honestly, Anti-Titan weapons need buffed. A lot of the time it feels like it is a waste pf time to even use them.

The electric one doesn't do shit. The lock-on rocket always gets dodged. The charge rifle doesn't do enough Titan Damage to make up for it's charge time.

The only one that seems to be worth a damn is the MGL when amped, and it has shit range. I use it whenever enemy titans are near cover, but if they are out in the open, I am not even going to bother.

I like the Sidewinder because it's basically an L-STAR with a two-shot kill on pilots and much greater effectiveness on Titans.
However, its projectiles move at 0.8x the speed of the L-STAR, the hip spread is huge after a couple shots (but dead on accurate when zoomed), and worst of all, the missiles obscure your own vision with all the smoke trails.

If it weren't for that blinding smoke, I'd use it a lot more.

What the others need isn't so much a buff, but a reason to be used.

Kill Report gives virtually zero information, and what it does give is both worthless and something difficult to notice during gameplay. It should be turned into Minion Detector for Attrition and Bounty Hunt. As for other modes, enemy pilots and grunts could be highlighted when in line of sight as though they were being viewed through a threat scope.

Wallhang is worthless. It should grant better wallrun performance ala Enhanced Parkour Kit and faster mantling speed.

Hover is almost equally as worthless. How about allowing for it to give you a burst of speed out of its stationary hover as a sort of air dash?

I'd put it higher and being able to kill through non autoeject is unique, but it is extremely telegraphed and the raw single target damage isn't that big compared to other cores. Smart core is extremely easy to build up, locks down all pilot movement is a giant area, makes you a king of sustained DPS, and removes your main counters - vortex and flameshield.

I got it for £25 from the PS4's EU Xmas sale and damn, it feels like I've got a bargain. This game has singlehandedly rekindled my love of FPS multiplayer after I've been burned out on CoD. Movement has a great, fun fluidity to it and the Titans are a nice take on killstreaks (or more apt, Destiny's Supers).

Problem is the player numbers. They're not too high and some of the more fringe modes sometimes takes a while to set up a match. I really hope large numbers stick around, at least long enough for me to git gud.

It will never happen. The game is on Source engine, meaning EA actually put in significant effort to keep it OFF of Steam.

One of Valves conditions for publishing games using the Source engine is that you don't need to pay any royalties on the engine as long as you release it on steam.
EA would rather pay Valve for using their engine and release it on Origin than release it on Steam and not have to pay for the engine at all.
