DAC and ADC work with all bits in parallel, so why the buffering? It's evidently possible to send audio over in real time, or else the stream would soon break. So why the delay? Or, why any more delay than 10 or 20ms, as much as the sound card takes for it's stuff?

There were a lot of short manga series that ran early on, I don't know if they were planned to run short, got cancelled or were just things like the anthology. You're trying to take what I am saying, which is an overall generalization (which you can easily check by doing a little research if you weren't involved in this back then) and you're trying to turn it into me stating that all these titles got cancelled when I have no way of knowing what the plans for them were.

Set whatever expectations you want, but if you look at how most of these go you're probably going to end up disappointed if you're expecting them to voice a bunch of idols through it.

I mean maybe I am wrong and they'll do it, who knows, it just seems like a bad bet with no track record of it and most of these things having short runs.

For the record, Rocking Girl is still technically on hiatus. And having a gag koma spinoff like Honjitsu no Idol was redundant when CG Theater is a thing.

New Generations and Ensemble had a full and proper run that lasted quite a bit. Meanwhile, Wild Wind Girl and U149 are ongoing and are rather well received.

The only CG Manga that had a bumpy ride are the CG anime manga and Rocking girl.
