Here's a quick webm on doing it with your fists. If they're on an incline of some sort just crouch, grab at them twice, then store them and throw them to a more flat spot to try it again since inclines are a mess with the overhead punch on these things for whatever reason.

Hey, I have nearly everything else at 20, fists can wait since they don't have durability.

11 usually has one or two, whenever you encounter those trap floor areas (The only that drops you into the water for an ambush) the road ahead of the first trap will either contain scorpions or 2-3 pillbugs, 20 will usually have one right outside the elevator. You don't really need to look for them too much since once you get like 6 you're usually good, and 21 onward every floor has at least one or two.

The only difference time makes is if your guy get to fight the other one or not for a chance at better rewards. I did a six hour expeditions as a test before I went to sleep yesterday using all my characters. I got the exact same amount of money and items as I did with my 1 hours expeditions.

I'm pretty sure either the tutorial or Meijin tell you the whole reason you can do longer expeditions is so that you actually fight whoever it is you're hunting, whereas if they're not on that floor or offline it'll just count as a draw.

For pants/chests the plus sign means added defense, the minus means lessened.

On the hats, those are your stats: HP, Stamina, Strength, Dexterity, Vitality, Luck. Hats will add or subtract certain percentages to your stats, so wearing the right hat for your weapon is good. If you aren't worried about MAX DAMAGE then going for a hat with HP/VIT is probably best.

Except there's at least five frogs right from the first floor and every floor after either has some sort of damaging mushroom like the boomshrooms, electricity ones, or the rocket ones, but it also has stuff like brainshrooms, the sleep ones, and so on. The game gives you many ways to combat the guys and many chances to just stockpile stuff for Haters exclusively. They become a non-issue just with Tear Gas.

On certain rotations (not today), Heimo-Jima (6F) is probably the best place to go. All it is is a few hallways filled to the brim with Mk-1 Scratch Tubers with a hater in the middle, and an escalator on both ends. Something like 20-30 scratch tubers all lined up and ready to go.

Don't even bother caring about defending until you get to at least tier 3, maybe even tier 4. Your equips are far too garbage, everything you can obtain can be countered extremely easily since you learn every weapon's pattern that's available to you during you trip to the tenth floor, and you don't really even have resources to buff yourself too much.

At this point just make sure that if you're under 50k you get to 50k and buy a stew before you log off since otherwise you'll have everything stolen when you come back online.

It's on floor 9, I believe Yoshiki-dani but I could be wrong on that one. It's whichever one is the story map, the one that has that huge room with all the metal walkways intersecting and letting you fall down them as it spirals around the room. It's only composed of shit I've personally verified - but on that note, that means there's a lot of missing info as well, even from places I've been multiple times.

I think most areas follow a pattern of resources being either specialized to a type, or generalized to all. Wanoki is a specialized area, offering only aluminum, but can be aluminum from its own tier (Scraps), or from tier 2 (Can). It's possible it can also be from tier 3 (engine part) with an extremely low percentage, but I can't verify that. I know Kaga in Tier 2 can see Veneer, MDF, and Rosewood, with MDF being the most common, so specialized areas may just span 1 tier up and down. Some areas I didn't actually see that so I didn't write it down, but it's probably the case with all specialized areas.

Cloth specialized areas seem like they drop any and all cloth equally, but you can see a lot of outlier information there, like I've never seen Silk/Leather in Hyakudori, but I suspect it can be there. Could be wrong there.

Then generalized areas are restricted to just their own tier, but seem to have any type of material in that tier, so Kawabe has Iron Bolts, Aluminum Engine Part, Copper Wire Mountain, Rosewood, and Crude Oil, as well as Cotton. No matter the tier the cloth always seems to be cotton in these generalized areas. Sometimes they seem to be missing a resource type, but it could just be luck going that way. Like Imokawa-Cho, I've been through there shitloads of times, but never seen copper scraps. It could be certain generalist floors cannot spawn one type of resource, but I can't say that for certain.

Rather than making 40 floors, I'd make it 100 floors. Let the difficulty ramp up fairly and smoothly than the floor 20 spike.

To avoid a feel of repetition, "new" enemies will be exclusive to each 10 floors. But to make it easier on the team, they all may vary in designs and looks they merely are just more smarter and complicated versions of enemies prior.

For example, you have a tuber, on floor one, it does simple slow swipes, on floor 12 the tuber can do an orbital attack that leads to a staggering hit stun, punishing players for not parrying and rather dodging. By floor 60, they have alternate animations for faster attacks followed by moves that must be parried several times for a large gap to attack, meaning the enemy has a enough recovery time after your first parry to follow up a hit than to be left wide open. By 100 those tubers are aggressive as Haters and borrow moves and properties of other enemies you've fought, such as the hovering tubers.

And Haters are now scaled to your level, or a single tier higher.

Well, it depends on if you had the right mushrooms.

One stingshroom for him to eat when he gets kinda low, one for you and a crushroom (maybe multiple if the fight's going for a while), slowmungus to spam out that initial damage to get him to eat in the first place, a bunch of toughshrooms to toughen you up wouldn't hurt.

An important thing to note is that quicker, lower damage weapons work way worse going up against something higher than their tier than stuff that hits hard in single hits due to the way defense seems to work. So if you roll in there with a 2star KAMAS you're probably not gonna have a great time.
