That calculates how good the numbers are I'm pretty sure; not how much dps it adds. You could always plug the riven mods in with the rest of your build on warframe-builder and see which is higher damage

No. If you have a relic that contains a Nova part, then you can use it or keep it to sell later on. You can get an item from it, but once you use it up (like all relics), it will disappear from your inventory. Unlike relics that contain parts that have not been vaulted, you cannot farm any more relics that have a Nova part in them, as the relics that contain it have effectively been scrubbed from the drop tables.

TL;DR:
You can use it to get rewards, but it will disappear from your inventory if it is used. As the relic is vaulted, you can't earn any more of that particular relic for another 2-4 years

Whilst in my view deluxe skins should be something that takes the core of the frame and spins it a bit (like saryn/valkyr/upcoming chroma). They might not be for everyone but they are unique to the frame in a way I appreciate.

Yeah, but when you start doing things like this you kinda need to do treat it as a job right (atleast thats what I do). So the difference between me and most of the other artists is that I set myself hard deadlines. Like spending 4 weeks on an item is not ok. If that items don't get in it means you've just lost that and your other item would need to get in. Its a funny balance where (I would argue) time managment is the difference between success and failure. Spend to long on something and fail and you will not try again.


that's part of the reason you see so few artists being willing to gamble on skins. There's some good artists out there who don't do skins, they just do helmets/syandanans. Thats cause the risk on skins is much bigger. The work is massive for skins compared to a syananda. Whilst only reaching a fraction of the userbase.

Add to that; skins are fucking hard to do. I've learnt a lot on doing them and I would like to think i'm always improving. But if you put the wrong details at the wrong place you will end up with something that looks super super flat..like some tennogen stuff out there.

the frost grost is the only reedemable skin for frost that makes him look alright instead of fucking shit

The usual damage and multishot. For the Hind a rate of fire mod would help its really sluggish performance. The Hinds used by enemies fire so fast you'd mistake them for Grakatas sometimes.

Trying to keep it honest, i mean I do this because its fun and brings in cash. Thats the reason I've kept doing the graxx stuff. It doesnt pay as well as doing something thats more classic warframe but I find it more fun. But there's a limit on how much I like wasting time (read chroma). No fucking way I'll ever touch chroma.

I get a bit of flack (a lot) of graxx being lazy work but a fair bit of people don't realize the work going into it. When you do a skin and change the normal maps etc properly you're basically making a deluxe skin but without the benefit of being able to change your geo of the model.

PBR isn't anything special on my side. It's just a way of outputting materials. So when you make new stuff its not a issue at all.

However converting old things to PBR can be a bit of a hassle depending on how it was done.

Both me and DE use substance designer/painter. However when DE started on warframe years ago that wasn't really around so chances are that the old old frames are done in other software, So the frames would basically need to be retextured (its like 5-7 days per frame I reckon if they still have the source bakes)

DE really put themselves in a pickle with the tennogen skins on primes but the toggle really would be the best decision. Saryn's prime shit is literally the only thing stopping me from buying that Graxx.

Weapon skins arent really worth the time desu. I guess there's a couple of exceptions but even DE stopped accepting weapons cause they dont sell.

Opinions on the Venka Prime? They are actually pretty fun with malicious raptor on and that forced finisher proc

Because there are other ways to keep yourself alive without gimping your build. On Nova, it isn't so bad to go Flow+QT cause Nova's mod space isn't very restricted. But on some other frames you gimp yourself hard if you want those 2 mods. If you're playing a CC build (Vauban, Slowva, etc) you don't need the survivability because the enemies should be CCed and can't really kill you. If you're not playing a CC frame, you're probably playing WITH a CC frame and they will CC for you. Defenses from warframe abilities (active defense) is so much stronger than health, shields, QT (passive defense). Before Warframe I played a lot of Guild Wars 2 so that might have something to do with how strongly I feel about active defense vs passive defense.

Side note: the only frame I run with survivability mods is Loki because not only is his build (pic related) is so cheap, but in theory if you're playing a long survival and your team is holed up in some room and you're running out of life support, you're the one that will go grab it because you can go invisible. And in this scenario I would value QT+Flow over constitution because, other than the fact that the gain from constitution is so mall, if you get hit while running for LS then nobody is there to pick you up, and QT Flow would be good there. (Although you should be using radial disarm, but nullifiers are a thing so you can still get hit by a stray bullet).

I don't have to actually win 3 snowball games do I? Playing PVP in this game is like watching fucking paint dry.
