Dragon Warrior is more generically useful, he is still a threat to bigger targets and still removes the same things as Priest. Priest is only better against Shadow, and that's just in the earlier stages of the game.

I keep face lots of wards, i see more Dirtrunes building Golem Walls than DShift and when i meet another sword 90% chance it will White Paladin instead of Banner and then shitting out that Huge Bullwark spawning his bro with ward on last word
I rarely see PtP Elfs, mostly Tempo and Haven isn't common neither burt it's always Elana and there depends on if they get the healing train or not
Blood is literally extint, haven't seen one in the last 20 matches of ranked
Shadow is rare but annoying and 50/50

Pretty much every t1 deck has some big ward target, start predicting obvious plays like Ancient Elf or Aurelia and take calculated risks. You are facing very different matchups than me, might be the time of day but PtP elf and Dshift was everywhere. If dirtrune curves out nicely there won't be much you can do, just try to keep pressure on and hope he has bad draws. Bad matchup for a face deck.

I mainly used aggro and control so far, very few midrange games, although i think it definitely has potential considering the end of A3 was all forest, Dshift and Elana.
For Aggro i started off with a netdeck and saw some interesting stuff posted here and there (Keen enchantments, tenacious ghosts) and made some changes.
Control I made myself, although it's winrate at the end wasn't great so I'm not quite sure if I'll keep using it, it'll definitely get better with some of the new RoB cards. Also having a full set of every relevant shadow card helped.

The point is, even if you play to your maximum, do everything that you can do, you will still lose roughly half of your games. It's just the way card games work if they are even remotely balanced. As Shadow against Sword, going second, is it ever a good idea to drop down Skullbeast on your turn 1? Every time I do this I get greeted by that one 2/2 ward and my opponent gets to trade 2-for-1 most of the time.

I've been playing for almost 2 months and I still have golden cards I haven't gotten. I don't have a single Themis or Garuda, not that I care.
I had to craft all my Vampychans, Alwidas, Death's Breaths, Foul tempest and Haunted howl for example and haven't gotten a single spare since. I don't have a single Roach or Cynthia too.
Just the other day I've tried making a dirtrune deck to fuck around with and I had to craft a Juno, Alchemist, Calamity and Levi just to have something for a start.
I also can't play more than 2 classes and 2 decks because I don't have legoes for anything else.

Basically you can play a for a while and still get absolute shit luck and drops
