Last thread a guy was saying he wishes the grunts had more to say, well got a story about that. Was playing Attrition on Angel City when I was heading to that little second story shooter spot near the Star Building when i saw this enemy pilot shooting at me. I get him down like 90% of his health but he manages to grapple away from me....right into a Grunts LoS. He gets shot and, I swear the grunt goes "Holy Shit! Can't wait to tell my ex-wife!"

You should probably switch guy. If nothing else, try the private match and just get a feel on how the other titans feel.

For a general idea, here's a basic whats what.
ION-Generalist. Has an energy mechanic tied to the cooldowns. P good for stopping stupid Tones and Legion with Shield and sniping with laser. Currently glitched where shooting them with the splash from the vortex shield is more effective on most things than at them.

SCORCH- BURN THINGS. That being said, your shit has some lengthy reloads and cooldowns. Think of your shield as your main source of consistient damage. Always try to flank so dudes can't escape your burning barrels.

RONIN- Flanker flanker who flanks. Zip behind them, arc wave shoot them in the back and maybe slash a couple of times. Your gun does more damage than sword though. Batteries are your lifeblood because boy you're not strong.

NORTHSTAR- SNIPOAH. Stay at range and shoot fucks with your gun. Also your cluster missles are surprisingly good at farming bots and kills in high contested areas.

LEGION - You ever play Heavy in Team Fortress 2? He's that guy but with the option to switch to long range mode for 'sniping'. Long range mode costs two bullets per bullet. Also a gun shield.

The problem most /tfg/ers have with Tone is that it is too easy for people who are less good to appear good with Tone. The particle wall has a ridonkulous uptime, the missles are annoying, the downtoning of hte 40mm's RoF is countered by having the new kit with STOCK THREE FIRE FAST and Salvo Core is the fastest acting core of them all with most people running into your face to shoot it where you can't block/get away.

Its basically the titan for nubscrubs or tryhards tldr

I tried so hard to git gud with the Spitfire,DMR, and pre-buff R97, but the truth is that they just suck. R97 is a little better now but it's pretty shit for it's intended purpose. I can't find a reason to use the Spitfire over Devotion or DMR over Krabr/Double Take.

I've done plenty of Coliseum matches and I'm only using EPG there, still going on a winstreak of like 20 matches. It's just that I can't deal with all the Hemlocks and R-201 almost killing me intantly

Why is Titanfall 2 kinda dead on PC? The move system works a lot better than consoles. Is any FPS on PC that isn't pseudo tryhard shit doomed to failure?

Softball is the only grenadier weapon I can use effectively. I see everyone else zipping around in these WebMs with EPGs just gibbing everyone, for me I just miss and deal a bit of splash damage and then get instantly killed out of the air by a Volt.
Softball I can just spam into those slows and get basically guaranteed kills. It's not as unforgiving as the EPG.
I haven't tried the cold war yet, I might give it a try, since it has better splash I'll probably do better with it
