No, I am taking this in stages.
First I am trying to find out how they would play (close range, mid range, long range, ect.)
Then move sets (moves are attempted to be derived from FNAF World and the other games, as well as taking some liberties on what they can do. Like Shadow Bonnie and Shadow Freddy Using shadows to attack.).
Basic combos.
Interactions with other animatronics in the game, story, ect.

I have good progress on most of those stages. As well as about 50+ characters that I am trying to put in the game.

Michael's more hollowed out and is mostly just a windbag now, instead of Deadpool. Although, sticking a regenerator in a bunch of sharp metal bits is a viable way to torture someone like Deadpool. It's also canon that he did that.

Michael's really just hollowed out, though. I think he's been turned into a "costume" like the animatronics, and the rules apply to him subsequently.

An interesting bit people miss often is that Purple's legs give out in the Night 5 minigame with a weird snapping noise, before he falls against the wall. Like there's bone inside. Scott would pretty much have to deny that to actually claim Michael is Springtrap. Same for all the blood and vital organs you see in him.

In either case though no matter if it's William or Michael, Springtrap was probably alive the whole thirty years. The suit never stops jittering in the minigame, and whoever woke up inside it has been presumably driven insane. Hence why all he does is moan and hiss.

This still brings me to my original question though: why the fuck is he going through all of this effort to create sentient high-tech robots that have complex manuveurs to kill children? Would it not be more satisfying to simply do it himself if it were just for shits and giggles? Why did he program the robots to target his own children if he supposedly didn't want them getting hurt? He can program them with sentient thought and child-killing parameters but he can't program them not to target a specific girl with his own genetic code? Wouldn't these killbots increase his chance of being caught, especially since he's registered them under his own name? All someone would have to do is find remains of some victim inside of the robots, and suddenly Afton's under investigation. One look at the schematics and he's literally done for. Well in the beginning off the game he is questioned about the designs he gave some of the Animatronics. I guess he either convinced them that they were not for abducting children, or convinced him to join in on his plan. He also only has the Animatronics abduct kids, Funtime Freddy holds kids in his storage tank. Baby was never meant to do that, she malfunctioned and killed a kid on accident, possibly from all the scooping parts of Funtime Freddy's programing got into her. Afton most likely has the kids brought to him to experiment on / kill / whatever. After he is done the technicians then work on the Animatronics, oblivious to what has happened. He could keep the animatronics quiet by threatening to have them scooped or by the controlled shocks, witch could be why Ballora was so fear full, after all, she could not pretend away her sadness (her theme song is called Crumbling Dreams, and she is always in a sad or somber mode or tone when she talks. Her dreams of being a performer were crumbled when she learned about her programing.). Afton probably covered his tracts and did all the messy work himself. Then have the technicians repair the Animatronics.

If his company is close enough to Freddy's to build their springsuits and robots, then chances are that instead of hiring repairmen and technicians, they just send the robots to Afton whenever shit goes awry.

Which would provide an explanation for why the kids' corpses were never found or reported, and why Freddy and Baby are programmed to cram kids inside themselves. Afton probably gave the situation an examination

The robots are apparently extremely difficult to open, so chances are he'd have opened them himself or have an accomplice open. Remember that you have to go through a step-by-step routine of specific button pressing to even open the shells, meaning that only someone who built them himself or knows how to get inside can open them.

Afton made wholly self aware AI with complex emotions and cognitive skills by complete accident for a children's restaurant. He murdered several children, the first of which came back as a puppet that was basically capable of necromancy and resurrected his other kills while simultaneously hiding the bodies; if the puppet wasn't out for Afton's blood, he basically would have made undead thrall. He also managed to beat and disassemble the hell out of four possessed killer robots before sealing himself by accident into a mechanical suit and somehow transcending human mortality by becoming a semi mechanical undead monstrosity himself. Basically Afton is a transhuman mecha-lich and his story really wouldn't be out of place in warhammer or shadowrun.
