Probably an absurd question but I don't know really. I'm level 36 and still using an (ascended) strangers rifle.

I find blues at my level that have more damage but the rifle is just better because of all the upgrades.

Run the Quests you obtained, you have a Quest tab in the start screen to the right of inventory. Using the boost allows you to jump right into the Taken King expansion but you should still start off with the original story. Enemies are going to be easy because you used the boost but you could always start a new character or just play on the one you created, the normal story goes Earth > Moon > Venus > Mars so run the Quests you got.

Pull back by letting go of boost for literally half a second then strafe against their tail with your body. they'll either veer off badly or explode altogether. Either way they're off you.

What'd you expect? Destiny is like the highest grossing new IP this generation, its one of the most profitable games of all times, and their 'content' updates are still profit pinching microtransaction garbage.

What was supposed to bring us back? The recolor thunderlords that were in the data files in their exact current form for over a year? The two strikes we already had but now OMG taken enemies? Or the the single solitary new armor model that's locked behind an RNG paywall?

Its good that this didn't bring it back to life, I hope the next one does even worse, because Bungovision isn't going to stop with the microtransactions until they stop being profitable.

This whole "Eververse is going to fund live events" bullshit never panned out, we kept paying for eververse, and live events kept bringing more microtransaction shit, we were literally paying them to give us more things to pay for, festival of the lost was the worst of the worst, they literally rehashed last year's event and put a new pricetag on everything. I may not know much about most shit, but I've deal with enough gamedev bullshit from the CG side to know how little time and effort takes to scrounge together most of the crap they gave us.

Whatever, look tl;dr the sooner it dies the sooner bungie gets their shit together and starts giving us proper content updates instead of bite sized microtransaction chunks. So let it die and come back better.
