You used to have more parity in decks allowing skill to determine much more

Before MSG I averaged 5.7 wins in arena. Now I average 2.9

I can't get my free packs for Jade Lotus because I have no dust to make any of the cards for the viable decks. I had every card pre MSG but I blew my dust on Priest and Warlock cards. :(

You get way more packs then hearthstone, not just at the start either
free arena tickets and packs for playing ranked and as daily rewards
an average of a pack a day of quest gold and frequent pack quest rewards.

deck is 40 cards and you can have 3 of each card and 2 of each legendary in a deck, so the packs are bigger than they are in hearthstone.

From my observation 1 in 10 packs gives a legendary.

I would say the only drawback is that it can be really hard to complete certain quests due to different classes being really expensive to make viable compared to certain classes having insanely good starting decks.

I still play both because shadow-verse has some holes in it's archetypes available.

Climbed to 10 with Renolock, fucked around with Pirate Warrior/Shaman and Midrange Shaman, dropped back to 13, then climbed the rest of the way with Reno Priest (which was the most enjoyable climb I've had)

honestly I have no idea what to play now. I could try the shadowform variant but I'm missing a lot of the fun inspire cards like Paletress and Saraad
