Default appearance. Creating a character that looks decent is the one thing I find impossible to do. I always end up finding some little thing that eats at me until I eventually sperg out and delete the character. Its why I've had Inquisition since midnight release and haven't managed to beat it even once.

As for class I usually bounce between rogue and mage or basically whatever I played in Origins. So if I played a mage warden, I play a mage Hawke and mage inquisitor. Attitude wise my Hawke is just a straight up asshole who starts off as a normal dude but with Carver being a shitbag and his mom blaming him for Bethany/Carver's death he constantly grows more cold until he says fuck it. My fem hawke is the same, but she hides it better them my MHawke.

Well, I mean, we kinda do if you take him out a lot and hear the banter/explore all his dialogue. I find it is most noticeable in his interactions with Varric. It's also probably more apparent if you romance him too, but perhaps I'm just sensitive to it because I clearly like him a lot (funnily enough, I didn't love him much in Awakenings, I found the 'haha hiding my debilitating issues and crippling trauma induced anxiety with top bants' a little meh after a while). It would have been better for it to be more apparent, of course.

Also, are those short character stories the writers wrote canon? The Anders one was good, it showed how he came to merge with Justice and they instantly became Vengeance (there was no Janders, only Vanders...). Pretty fucked up.

I rarely used him. Never had a need with Merrill as my mage and me as a mage during certain playthroughs. I don't think his character is bad, its just a complete 180 from Awakening that could have been handled a bit better. I think I've been poisoned by fanfiction writers that always have to make everything super edgy or the insane need to have him romanced with Fenris who openly hates him.

This is a load of shit. Even turning in one terror talon or thing of frosty rags is enough to get even a bit.

Only thing I've done different from any other playthrough is select Advanced Studies as soon as I could around level 7 and that killed my xp gain. There was a moment where the game gave me a massive 4k chunk of xp for all the crap I turned in, but its dead again.
