I think clothes need to fall off as you take damage in smite. I guarantee more people would buy it and at the same time it would give a big middle finger to everyone (people who don't even play smite) saying the gods are over sexualized and made them change characters for the worse.

So far I've only been playing with bots but I've always been starting off by getting the shoes that let you move faster out of combat and get you bonus money, and then I get a lifesteal item (usually the devourers gauntlet for the physical ones)

It's been working well for bot matches but I get the feeling people are gonna laugh at me and say it'd be terrible for matches against other players.

I'm going to explain why you all suck at playing Hel. What I've found is that she's easily one of the top three gods in the game and has the ability to get ahead fast and erase teams but one of her biggest problems other than people not knowing how to use her in general and not making use of all her abilities is whenever a assassin would catch you from behind and pretty much kill you but what most people don't know is that Hel actually can escape from this pretty easily. The trick is to not panic and immediately switch to light stance and heal or to try fighting back because you'll likely die 90% of the time. My technique that almost always saves me is when someone jumps on me from behind and starts attackin is to juke around as close as you can to them counterclockwise and I don't know why but this fucks with people a lot especially on console and hit your slow right at your feel and right after you do that switch to light stance and heal while simultaneously making a run for it and you'll usually come out alive. It's best to not get in that position in the first place but she's fully capable of escaping these attacks. That's really her only weakness in my opinion and it's completely avoidable but when people say hel can't escape they're simply wrong. She has a great escape and can heal back up in her tower after she does it unlike a lot of characters.

Ah Muzen Cab is the character I have the most fun playing as. Can someone tell me how to git gud with him?

1) She has to put herself very close to the wave to clear them.
2) Her early clear is pretty bad.
3) Her mana pool and mana costs are terrible
4) She is forced into going for a Chronos Pendant to be useful at all, and usually a Spirit Robe for the added CD and survivability.
5) The MP5 does not come until level 5, and even then, its extremely easy to die that early on, especially if the enemy Jungle is Fenrir or they have an Isis Mid or something.
6) Anti-heal completely fucks her over as an in combat healer.
7) She is a mage with the lowest health pool in the game that is forced to be close to the classes that specifically are created to make her life difficult (warriors) to do damage, allowing her to get chained and deleted.
8) She just has no CC. Her 2 is pretty useless until you finish leveling it up.

10) She works much better as a Solo lane God since having her in solo would not sacrifice CC or wide damaging ults that most mages provide. Gem of isolation is pretty cool if you want to be a complete bitch and it doesn't really rely on stacks like doom orb if you want to play safe.

Building stacks with Hel is pretty easy as you can literally just blow up an entire wave just passing through somebody else's lain and she can gank pretty good considering there's not very many gods who can escape her and her high burst damage.*

he's a late game hyper carry.
Unless he was nerfed recently and I missed it, he's one of the strongest late game carries and almost always has been. Takes quite a long time for him to fully come online but once he does it takes a combined team effort to stop him due to him being able to rewind and undo all the burst damage you just did to him, which I believe also resets all his cooldowns (except ult).

Get ganked by the enemy team and fall behind? Lose the entire fucking game and your team blames you.

There are two states if being jungle, either you're shitting on the enemy team and everyone loves you or you're getting shit on and everything is your fault

How are you even supposed to come back from getting way behind as a jungler? Doesn't matter if I go and farm if the rest of my team is getting shit in and the enemy team us getting towers
You can't engage the enemy team directly you don't have the HP/defenses to do so.
You can't defend towers because they'll just dive you, or wait until their creep wave shows up

Is there some home grown secret to this shit? Am I missing something? Am I wrong? I know how to play all the other roles, I have multiple diamond guardians and a diamond warrior, but jungle just feels so...random, like there's no rule set to go by and you just fly by the seat of your pants the whole time hoping you'll get a kill here or therr. It doesn't feel structured in the same way that the other lanes do and I never know what I should be doing, I always feel like there's something that could be done better or faster and it feels like jungle is the hardest to get competent at, simply because there's no enjoyment in getting your teeth kicked in playing a role you're not familiar with. Carry, solo, mid and support all felt natural and I sank into those roles easily and comfortably, but jungle feels like I'm sitting on a bed of nails...

Chronos is pretty fun with his ice skating, for Guardians I find Ares to be a ton of fun. Especially with a gem of isolation which stacks with the slows on his chains and is refreshed every tick of damage they deal.

Nobody expects Ares to deals as much damage as he does but if you pick up some utility based damage items(isolation, spear of Magus, divine ruin if they're a healer) he can really fuck up squishies who are forced to pop beads to escape his cripple or deal with being shackled for 6+ seconds and burned alive the entire time.

To be fair to fully utilize her pressure in solo as hel for early phase, all you need to do is heal your own wave after they try to clear early on. After like level 6, you can just 1/3 a wave clear no problem.

And with the fact MOST not all, but MOST have to melee the wave to keep clearing, she can keep up in there easily and provide solid poke.

That being said, it doesn't mean shit because it's just running AMC solo, it just tells the enemy team "CAMP MY LANE AND ALL I CAN DO IS FARM UNTIL WE GROUP".

I won quite a few solos as hel. The only thing that makes me lose honestly are the rotations because I can berate and make any warrior besides maybe odin feel the pressure and lose out in lane. But fuck it shes like tissue paper that will get shredded in a second if anyone but the warrior is there early game.

But that being said hel is made for solo only, she needs blue buff to survive and actually be menacing. Why the fuck would you ever play her mid? Honnestly fuck the pros last year for playing her mid, they forced hi-rez to nerf her and make her complete dog shit and questionable to use at all now. The perk to having a weak ass solo that is easily ganked was the mid/end game power she could provide but hi-rez said "LOL NAH TOO OP HEALING IS TOO MUCH".

But here we are with a fucking scylla at end game that can do a sic em' and crush for almost 2k. Somehow that's fucking balanced though.

Brawler beat stick is a GREAT item to get because it gives you pen and power and abiltiy gods build it anyways. ON top of that it lets you also shit on adc's lifesteal as well so their sustain takes a hit.

Pestilence is cheap as fuck for 2100 gold and great defensive stats (Heartwood is shit). Also supports like Bacchus and Sobek have innate antiheal so they anti heal Hel for 75%! Also Odin support eats you even with phantom.

Divine Ruin got heavily buffed and since you can tiny trinket start once you finish your pen boots you can easily buy DR for 1280 gold!.

Even before Hel's temporary time at mid solo mages were complete jokes. Giving up you your warrior/guardian solo who would provide offensive and defensive reinforcement in the mid/late game is not worth it.
