I don't see why it's being made an Enkidufag thing. Fans of Karna complained when he was shittier than Scathach, fans of Bryn complained when she was shittier than Scathach, fans of Lancer Arturia complained when she was shittier than Scathach. I can't remember any complaining about her being shittier than Scathach from Tamamofags, but I do remember complaints that she was shit because her skills had massive downsides.

Every 5* Lancer released bar possibly Tamamo has had people complaining because Scathach is still better than them to the point that there's no reason to use anyone else. Enkidu was the last straw because he was expected to be very, very good, and because the evidence that Koyama was intentionally pushing for Scathach to be the best came to light around the same time. It's not a conspiracy theory if there's proof to it, and it's hardly just Enkidufags that are complaining right now.

I agree that complaining won't make a difference, but you're deluded if you think that a fanbase isn't going to react badly to the revelation that not only is their favorite Servant pretty shitty, but he was intentionally made that way to keep another unit as the best despite that unit only being good at best.

In no other Class in the game are you forced to use a Servant like you are with Scathach. There's no situation in which she isn't better to take than any other Lancer, whereas you've plenty of choice with other Classes. How about using Servants besides Scathach because you like them? I have Scathach myself, but I still use my Tamamo Lancer, Kiyo Lancer, Lancer Alter, and even Cu when I feel like it.

I'm not even talking about Enkidu. 5* Lancers always had mediocre NPs or skills since Scathach. Karna had his Prana Burst being much worse than the basic version, his stall being worse than Scathach's, his NP gimmick being the same as one of Scathach's skills, and lacking crit weight despite being a crit memer. Bryn has her arbitrary Beloved mechanic and a mediocre skillset on whole, including a worse version of Karna's already worse Prana Burst. Lancer Arturia has two of the more powercrept skills in the game and her unique skill is worse than her 4* Alter version, as well as having a secondary NP effect that's fairly shitty. Tamamo is good, but her skills have fairly big downsides to them, and none of them have NP interludes bar Scathach.

The placeholder magazine page was just that, a placeholder, but it's not as if Enkidu's skills are all great or for Lancers to be mediocre. Also, it's not that he pushed Scat to be good, it's that he pushed her to be the best, meaning that by definition all the other Lancers have to be worse.

I'm not assuming anything of the sort, but there are certainly people that prefer gameplay to personality with their Servants. Scathach is meant to be single target high damage, but you can't really call her a glass cannon when her HP isn't significantly lower than Bryn or Karna's and she has a dodge, and she's still likely to perform better than them even in their own niches.

Like I said, it doesn't matter unless you like the Lancer class or specific Servants in it, and even then it only matters if you like them but not enough to overlook gameplay. But it's dumb to deny the fact that Scathach is objectively better than any other 5* Lancer while also objectively being only pretty good, rather than great.
