You can't be situationaly away of ships that aren't spotted. Furthermore you can't be situationaly aware of ships that are well outside you scope of view, or at least not reasonably so. If you need to keep your guns on a target while also looking at what the other big ships around it are doing you're going to be hard pressed doing so since the only option is to zoom out with RMB, which isnt useful for looking at the guns of other ships.

It has some niche value but its still more than fucking expert loader.

As a BB player, I find the indicator thing next to useless, even more so as it only warns about long range incoming fire.

IMO exper loader should keep its current effect. But have a ROF buff for firimg at the same target. 10 percent per full salvo with BBs and ships with 203 or higher to a max -40 percent increase in reload time. For calibers under 203 it should be 5 percent per salvo until -40 percent reload. This should stack additively with last chance. Maybe even affect CVs somehow. What does /wowsg/ think?

No. The only time you ever switch ammo types like that is when you know you have ample time to do so and there are no targets to shoot, making its point moot. When you dont have the time to switch ammo like that or you do have something you can shoot at, you should be discharging whats in your guns so you can get some kind of damage out rather than waste whats in your guns. Thats the only kinda of salvo you have a chance of dodging by reacting to it rather than predicting it, so you've obviously missed the point. Also, if anything you have it in reverse, EL would be marginally more useful on a slow loading ship than a fast loading one, while Fire Alert is more useful to ships that can actually react quickly, like C(x)'s and DDs.

The thing about Fire Alert is that it doesn't have some niche set of circumstance in which it could prove useful. Under normal circumstances a cruiser should not be within 6 seconds of fire range with enemy ships. It should ideally be something more like 10s/14km, because at that range you have a chance to react to the salvo by WASD hacking it. But you cant have eyes everywhere at once, and theres where Fire Alert comes in. Plus, it tells you RIGHT when the salvo gets launched, giving you as much time as possible to react, unlike what this idiot >>162461448 is suggesting where in between zoom outs a salvo could be launched and you'd have no fucking clue.

Cruisers are only for the most skillful of players in the current baBBy-dominated meta. You must play smart, use islands for cover, make use of friendly DD smoke, don't expose your citpussy to the thirsty BBetas. Turn in response to incoming fire so that they miss or at least you have better angling when they do hit, be a leaf on the wind.

Don't rush into caps, you're not a DD so don't act like one. Be patient and wait to see where the enemy fleet is strongest rather than finding out by being the first thing that the enemy sees. Decide to turn around and pull back before you're getting shot at, because you can't turn around and leave without exposing your broadside unless you have an island that you can stop and reverse behind.

US cruisers have good damage per minute and good AP, however so do brit cruisers.

USN shells are slow which makes it hard to hit stuff at long range, but they have a great arc so you can shoot over mountains and abuse island cover like nobody else.

My main problem though is that their main gimmick is having good AA. There's no guarantee that you're going to have to face a CV in any given game, and if you do then that CV probably won't be retarded enough to lemming his planes into you. I'd rather have torps and hydroacoustic than no torps and defensive AA fire.

Plus after the Cleaveland you've got to contend with the Pensacola, which has worse concealment than an active volcano and a massive citadel.

Extremely hard question to answer.

Missions aren't dependent on winning, just general performance. The multiplier from winning helps, but you can still get decent exp if you do well on a loss.

Lots of factors with shekeling out too, like whether you're buying +50% exp flags to stack with the premium time, whether you're going to buy a T6+ premium ship, etc.

Maybe an hour and a half a day if you git gud and you're a really really good goy, if you're only getting premium and you never try to improve it might take up to around three hours a day.

These are really tentative guesses though, your mileage may vary.

Most likely though, you're dying too much, too early. As a general rule, don't rush in straight ahead, even in "brawling" ships. Sniping is bad, but it has its uses, particularly in the first stages of the match where you have to poke the enemy while you bid for your time and wait until the enemy numbers have whittled down enough, either in numbers or HP, due to them being killed or them retreating to another flank, so that the side you want to push has a numerical advantage on the enemy.
