The guy I opened the gate for left me a double tip, posted on my billboard to let me know and apparently did nothing else.

Since you need to be spoonfed asshole, let me explain.

PWP placement is done by leading Isabelle to a location and planning rather than an overhead view of your town and more precisely grip placing, because that's more realistic. That's what I mean when I say it's done for immersion. Buffer Zones are areas around PWPs that exist solely so villagers can fit around PWPs when holding celebration ceremonies. That's a decision for immersion and tone that vastly limits what you can do with PWPs.

Villagers move in random places, not wherever the Mayor tells them to, because it's more "realistic" that way.

In real life, grass isn't perfect everywhere and deteriorates when tread on repeatedly, which is why Grass Deterioration still exists despite being completely out of control in previous versions of the game almost ruining it entirely.

There's no reason we couldn't just design our town the exact way we want except for the game wanting to seem more immersive, as though you're going to a real place that exists.

Town Paths could be the way they are for immersion or just cause they've been too lazy to implement a better way.

I'm trying to get the snowman set because I've always loved it but never played around winter and I swear to god the second snowball just isn't spawning or something. I have to keep resetting and I still can't find it. My town isn't even that cramped. This is infuriating.

I think Bee Keeper is the worst, because it's a daily that you only have 5 chances a day between all your characters or you lose. If all four of your characters get it, that leaves very little room for messing up on something kind of challenging if you don't know how to cheese it.

Giant Isopod on the other hand spawns all day, so it's just tedious. Just happens to fall under generally so slow it's better to just play Puzzle League for the same amount of tickets faster.
