So, my mom finally passed away. 2 days ago. Lung cancer, if some of you remember my last blogpost

she's definitely an intricate champion though and you get out what you put in as far as learning how to play her

rek is my favorite jungler next to lee sin, the flexibility in ganks and map mobility is a ton of fun

No. He needs either a better/extra mobility spell or free movespeed. He's a melee carry that has to stick next to people to kill them with sustained autoattacking, but his tools to do so are: a single dash+knockup and a single slow. Most of the champs that are actually played can easily get away from him 1v1, much less in a teamfight where aatrox gets shredded cause he's squishy as paper if you build any damage items (and if you don't, you don't do ANYTHING lmao)

For a decent noob starter pack of strong champions.

The tutorial for this game sucks, so start out learning mid, top or bot lanes first. Jungle is probably the hardest and most confusing role to learn for newbies, especially those new to moba. You're also better off finding beginner's vids on youtube to learn more about laning roles, jungling, dragon, baron, plants and so on.

Save up the IP to get good champs, at least until you reach level 30.

Go to champion.gg for champion builds and itemization

Don't start buying runes until you reach level 30, and when you do, make sure they're tier 3.

You're going to come across a lot of smurfs in your pre-lvl 30 games, keep in mind that it gets better until you reach 30.

DO NOT play ranked as soon as you reach 30. Play plenty of normal games before that.

Should I buy Ivern or Ahri? I only really play three midlaners, only one of them at a competent level (Lux), even though mid is my main role. I have like four junglers I can play competently (Zac, Wu, Vi, Amumu). But Ivern is really different from all of those, and looks fun as fuck. Ahri looks fun too, but isn't as shiny and is still pretty expensive IP wise.

There's also the worry that Ivern will keep getting nerfed, since he's in a state of balance flux. It seems like every new champion ends up like that, and either come out powerful (Jhin) or shit (Taliyah).

Kled saw some heavy nerfs and is not a stable pick, he's either snowball or feed. His passive is far more of a detriment than a benefit, and most top laners can fuck him over easily during laning phase. He's clearly underpowered.

Body like Chun-Li, attitude like Kain from Soul Reaver/Morrigan from Dragon Age, and an overall feel that somehow Platinum Games was part of her inspiration.

I honestly don't mind if she's got worse matchups against champs like Jax or Poppy.
This is the sort of champ I'd be glad to train with, if it means I can kick ass with her.
