New forest cards bring new things to the table for what forest can do, like giving the access to transform effects and giving you FREE Silver Bolts/Rose Queens.

Meanwhile sword is getting "More 2 and 3 drop dudes", "More minions with rush to be used as removal (i.e Alexander)" and "Genesis dragon in a playable class.

Sword cards maybe be 'better' card wise, but forest has more potential to create new deck types and builds while sword is just "Improvements to decks you already ran".

Anybody ever notice opponent trends by the hour?

While I was grinding to A3 for Liza, I realized that around the JST time where people are coming back to work, I was encountering a big increase in Haven and Rune decks, which were food for my Banner Sword under normal conditions

On the other hand, one or two hours later, I was facing Aggro Blood after Aggro Blood with an occasional Control Blood, seemingly to counter those decks

It's pretty funny when I realized it

Albert is probably the strongest Legendary in this set. He's like a Genesis Dragon on steroids. Extremely flexible, you can play him on curve if needed, he costs 1 less, his double attack allows him to spread dmg out if necessary and he can even hit harder than 9/11 with Evo. You can also buff him with Mentors teaching if you want.

Dont get me wrong, i love all crafts and dont really hate anything, unless its roach bounces.

But shit like seraph, while niche to counter, is counterable.

But the only counter to Dshift is simply killing them first. They are the ultimate lategame deck at turn 8.

Unless you got 5 wards chance are they just outright kill you at that turn, which makes the game cap at turn 8-9, leaving 9-10 cost cards and comboes risky and most likely will become memes.

It is the reason you cannot really do a non-dragon satan or the new bahamut card (unless unlucky dshift draws)


But then again Dshift gets eaten by aggro, which then promotes aggro, and leaves us with a rock paper scissor, which im not really sure is that healthy.

I mean, do you really wanna decide the game entirely on matchups?

The only way to stop this is to nerf dshift, and perhaps slightly tap the fastest killing decks a little.

This might however make Haven and midrange controls much more favored, but that is exactly where the new 8-10 cost cards can actually get a chance to shine.

I know im not seeing the whole picture, but i know a flawed one when im seeing it.

Sandstorm dragon is never used in any controlling Dragon deck, but it saw play in a lot of aggro dragon lists :^). You think just because a follower has high hp and low attack it's automatically a control card? Harder to remove cheap followers are more valuable to aggro, especially ones that have an effect that damages the opponent's face, which is why Minisoul has never seen play any none aggro Blood list.

I'm 100% convinced the game can be fixed by just nerfing 3 cards. D.Shift, Altered Fate, and Roach. Otherwise, enjoy every single 8+ mana cards not existing in constructed for the rest of the game's lifespan. I've never seen a defense force spread more misinfo than the solitaire defense force. Always pointing out the bullshit "negative winrate against everyone" and "unfavored against everyone" when it's always in the top 3 most played masters and tournament decks. Yes, combo shit has bad numbers when played by retards in b rank, this isn't news to anybody. The fact still remains there's no deck more meta defining than D.Shift. D.Shift has the effect Haven has on Shadow, except its on every fucking slow deck and card in the entire fucking game. It's a speed bump of the worst kind, and will forever remain as such until the day we actually get spell counters, hand/deck destruction, or a fucking nerf that stops them from consistently playing it on turn 8.

Nerf every single combo/wincon deck in the game by 3 or 4 turns so control/grinder decks are actually playable.

Elana is fine, and you aggro retards will complain about it til the heat death of the universe. Heal decks will always trigger ADHD retards who want 30 second long games, and anything short of gutting it completely won't actually satisfy you. But, if you actually want it to be countered, just remove D.Shift from the game and allow dirt Rune, Satan decks, ramp Dragon, control Sword, control Blood, and control Shadow to be playable. All of these decks would never allow Elana to keep a board to overbuff, and every single one of these decks is rendered unplayable by D.Shift.

Don't fall for the eternal meme. Literally every single tier 1 right now is burn/aggro, and every ladder popular deck is either degenerate trash like scream (revive minions from graveyard constantly that ignore block and go face for ridiculous value/tempo and damage) or p2w trash (combrei/feln).

Look at this tier 1 list, the top deck is burn, second is zoo 1 mana minions spam, 3rd is zoo with buffs, and last is zoo with gimmicks. The game is garbage, and you'll lose 40% of the time just because you drew too much mana/not enough mana. It favors aggro in every way, just like every digital card game to have ever existed.
