Well, you can't look up numbers. But just look around. Imagine that one guy, "that" person on your server known for being a dumbass. They don't talk in trade, but you've seen them in tradechat pugs. They put in effort to try and do normal. Now think of everyone else you've seen from your server that you have no clue who they are.
I've had people tell me they "beat" the game after hitting level cap.
Some people just do LFR and see the raid, which was the point in raiding before. Just because you can't concieve of it doesn't mean it doesn't actually happen, and isn't a majority of the playerbase, hence why LFR has been dumbed down from what normal is now to the current iteration of everyone can auto attack the boss to death while afk.


But no, I'm in denial. I'm not nosfag, I'm not even going to play nos, my MMO died when TOR came out, but even in that MMO WoW was ridiculed to be the most casual MMO. And it is, and will always dumb down to be.

Some do, some are happy just clearing it once. A lot. It's why subs spike after a LFR is fully released, and dies down after. No more data on this, but you can tell trade is more active, more groups on the group finder.
It's not the first boss to them, its the final. A lot of people aren't good at video games that play, or they buy into the "no time" meme and think you need to raid 7 days a week to clear normal.

Once you get to 60 - probably even earlier depending on your class/spec - you'll quickly realize people aren't the clueless yet open-minded friendly retards who played during vanilla, the only people you'll find are third world retards who bandwagoned in because it's F2P, and min-maxing NEETs trying to travel back to the most recent time they remember being truly happy.
Unless you're a NEET yourself, you'll never accomplish anything in vanilla.

You can do raids with two-three mechanics per fight in which the greatest challenge is actually getting 40 people together in one place for ~5+ hours.

There's nothing special about 3/3M because the only thing that matters is gear and using the one single talent setup and one single rotation that Blizzard decided should have enough numbers to kill the boss.

Azo's a bad "theorycrafter" and nowhere near the "top level" hunter he claims to be. He had good parses in HFC because he ran with a guild that used really cheesy mage stacking/ring explosion tricks to nuke bosses in literal seconds.

Before HFC he was a laughing stock. His guides he put up on the icy-veins forums were full of horse shit and had the stat weights all wrong.

He only got into the position of "guide writer" for icy-veins because there was nobody else willing to do it. He just collects info from the other theorycrafters (mainly effinhunter from what I can tell,) and tosses it together as best as he can. Anything he does himself (trinket sims, stat weights etc) he consistently gets wrong and does not update frequently enough.

I thought finding a healer + tank for normal dungeons was hard enough, finding them for a nightbane run is a whole other form of cancer.
