Kind of a dumb question here but would save data from a NA version of Pokemon Moon work with a JP copy? If not, do we have a save editor that can change the region or is it not that simple? Depends what you mean by fucked. You can do a system transfer if you have access to another 3DS with CFW already from a friend or do the hardmod method. If not that, you can hopefully buy Legends of Exidia if it is still up and hope slowhax works for 11.2 whenever it decides to comes out, but it is only known to support 11.0 and 11.1 so far. So I started following the guide to hacking my new mk7 2ds (firmware 6.0) that I asked about in the last thread. I'm up to the 2.1.0 ctrtransfer part. But when I download the usa ctrtransfer, it was only a torrent file, and to fuck things up further I managed to make it open by internet explorer only.

It says I have to copy the 2.1.0 .bin and .bin.sha files to my files9 folder, but I don't know how. Is it just the torrent file that I need to copy?

You need to make sure the block size is the default for the card. Depending on the brand that might differ, though most cards I've used seem to use 4kb block sizes. Different formats have different block sizes for a given disk size, if you can't set it to the preferred block size go for the closest multiple size, like 8kb for a 4kb preferred card.

With a 128gb card the 3ds will freeze for a moment when opening games and takes longer to start. Basically anything that reads from the card will be slow. Plus you'll never use that space. I have a 64gb and only half of it is full with all the worthwhile games. I'll bite, the easiest and most retard proof way is Haxchi+Sigpatcher2. No rednand or CFW needed

Follow the instructions from the github link, and put Haxchi and Sigpatcher2 in the wiiu apps folder on your SDcard. If you already have a VC DS game installed to your system nand you're in the clear, but if you don't have a DS game Squeak Squad is on sale right now for $5. Haxchi won't work if the game is install on USB fyi.

Step 1: Go into the browser and enter the link I posted. If you get an error, go to Google and enter the link manually
Step 2: Once you boot the browser exploit it should take you the the Homebrew Launcher
Step 3: Open the Haxchi app and it should list the games that you can inject
Step 4: Select whatever DS game you have on your system nand and it will do it's thing. After it returns you to the home menu you'll notice the game icon has changed to Haxchi.
Step 5: Tap the Haxchi icon and it will take you back to the Homebrew Launcher. Now run the Sigpatcher2, this is what will make your Wii U region free and pirate friendly.
Step 6: After you're back to the home menu boot Haxchi again and run WUP y Installer to install what ever WUP you have. WUPS are similar to WAD's or CIA's
