My proposition for Northstar changes:
>Make Piercing Shot baseline and give her two traps by default that work as charges, allowing for much easier escape
>Change the Piercing Shot kit to allow her plasma railgun to charge faster, and make it so the Tether kit makes tethers last 2-3 seconds longer
>Remove the bullet drop from the plasma railgun and make the hitbox of the bullet larger (Seriously, I don't know how many times I missed a shot simply because the enemy Titan sneezed, not to mention pilots are near impossible to hit while Tone has absolutely no problem whatsoever)
>Remove the way missiles ricochet during Flight Core and whirl around out of control for no apparent reason
>Give her a reason to exist, as she currently is, she's just a worse, more unreliable Tone, I would suggest causing Tone's 40mm rounds to explode at a certain distance so she stops outperforming her (I mean, why is it that Ronin is the only Titan that has a limited range on their weapon?)

I play Northstar as main and with Threat Optics I have no problem plowing pilots at long range
My main issue is that the Railgun takes way to long to spin up to full power, my secondary issue would be the shitty Core, it's a close up shitty missile spam with poor damage and leaves you completely exposed, the only good thing is the speed and flight duration.

I don't know what you could replace it with though, maybe an overcharged Railgun something like

While I like Threat Optics, I feel like it's almost not worth it due to the fact that kits like Piercing Shot and Double Tether are almost mandatory, which is why they just need to be baseline to an extent. It still doesn't fix the fact that the hitbox for the railgun bullet is laughably tiny, and trying to hit a pilot with it is nearly impossible when they're moving around, meanwhile Tone's 40mm has a huge hitbox with splash damage and can out-snipe Northstar in most situations.

I've not really tried the other titans since I got the game but I've not had much use for the tether. I generally hang back.
Maybe it's the map though, I'm pretty much exclusively playing on angel and enemy titans don't get much chance of getting close, if they do the jump jet is usually the quicker way to escape

That's what Ion's should canon is. Just without the reload animation. That's why it takes out pilots like no one's business. And you can even hold it to to line up shots if you need to.

No way, it takes way longer to recharge. You can only use it like once every few seconds if you spam it, and at full charge you only have two shots. With Tone's 40mm you have about, what, 12 of those? And every shot is a pilot instakill, travels faster than Northstar's railgun shots, and only has to stop to reload after firing them, and its reload STILL takes less time than it takes for Ion to recharge for another shot.

I'm mixed about hidden compartment. It is very nice against everybody but tone. Without the extended mag, you don't have enough ammo to burn down tone's shitty fucking shield.

I'd leave it alone, it doesn't feel brokenly powerful, just quite good. It's nice to be able to change loadouts up considering the other options are trash.

It's not about whether you're invincible; it's whether you've killed the enemy quickly enough that your own death doesn't matter. It's why the "MLG" execution is Grand Theft Semi-Auto, since the victim is dead at the first pistol shot.

Of course, you could just punch them in the back of the head to kill them instantly, but then again, Pilot executions are strictly to "show off."

I want to and several of them bought it but all went back to being BF1shitters after like a day. I explained to them that wallrunning and shit is essential to become good, and that the TTK is very low and unforgiving so running around in the open isn't going to work very well.

I think the titan combat was 2deep for them too.

Now when they manage to get me to play BF1 with them I realize how fucking slow and awful that game is. But they won't join me for titanfall. Only one of them has played the campaign despite me telling them it is legitimately the best I've played since HL2 and I honestly like it more than that even.

I can carry harder on Legion than any other titan. The sustained damage just allows me to whittle targets down for my retarded teammates to finally finish off. Sometimes I don't end with a lot of kills but I'll have 2-3x the damage done of anyone else in the game.

I do like getting roninfags to fuck right off with the hidden compartment.

My biggest annoyance is tone's shield strength just allowing them to fucking sit there for basically my entire god damn belt. And then they have it up again after just a few seconds.

Depending on the map, and how suicidal/brave I am I run in. Usually it's successful unless there's allot of space, then I usually just fuck off and try to find a way around. I've found most tones when you get inside their sheild panic and don't know what to do. But yeah tone and a good ion are definitely the things that give me pause while Legion'ing.

Also yeah Legion is my carry titan as well, hell I can carry my own ass when I'm being shit on foot if I'm playing early in the morning.

Honestly every game I'm seeing nothing but Volt, Alternator, R-101c, and Devotion stacks.

The only chance I have of winning is using the same weapons or Grenadier since those are always fun to use.

Even if I love going fast and popping pilots with the Kraber, Snowball or EPG it seems to me some of the guns can't compete to to the hitscan shit everyone's using.

The campaign is a lot of fun and surprisingly inventive and well put together, but you should know that it still ultimately comes out to about 6-7 hours worth of content in total, maybe double that if you care about finding collectibles and beating it on the hardest difficulty
