People have climbed master and beyond exclusively playing mercy, it's never about how good a support is in character but usually up to the team to utilize them correctly and somewhat the healer on the healing output.

What most heroes can't compete with mercy for is prolonged hard heals, ana can instantly heal with a flask but aftwer this her healing drops off a little and she shifts her attention to dealing damage.

What mercy needs is a buff on her damage boost so she doesnt have a reason to draw her pea shooter because the blue buff doesn't feel like it adds anything to a game where most heroes kill each other on contact anyways.

She needs a second ult like symmetra where she puts a protective immortality barier on a hero for a short duration.

they have the strongest ults, nuke/hammer/black hole and have typically more utility and require little positioning. You can't snipe but maps are small and defensive abilities counteract that anyway.

They deal just as much damage as a dps, except 76, which is the only dps picked aside from Ana, who is also the best healer and antiflanker.

Tanks need to get shafted, hard. Every match is 3 tanks, 76, Ana and another healer.

I know it's the "in" thing to say meta doesn't matter but at this level it absolutely does because you are even doubly handicapped when team filled with average skill players choose the a character that doesn't fit the scenario at all.

I get that it's better to have a player be average with the wrong character than shit with the right character but don't be shit with the wrong character.

I have seen it multiple times where I tell the widow to switch because their tickle damage means jack shit. After getting steamrolled on the first point they usually come to their senses and switch and we pull it out. I've even had it go the other way where we dominate the first round with a proper comp then they go full retard for round 2 and pick Hanzo or Widow and we get steamrolled.

These people deserve death.

Set up my comp team /owg/, assign each of us roles, drop 2 people.

I play tanks almost exclusively, and in every single game I have at least silver kills. I know medals don't mean much, but it does mean that at least 1 dps is probably dead weight every time.
I'm gold (I know I'm shit), so does this change when you rank up?

I've been getting 45+ SR per win so you get there in just a few matches

So is it just me or did they make medals actually matter for rating now?

Seems I gain 30-50 for wins where i get golds and only lose 15-25 for losses where I also have golds.

His damage is a joke.
His boop has a cooldown.
He can just barely defend himself.
His ult is the most underwhelming support ult. And it is the ONLY support ult that has an activation cast time so you are always under the danger of missing that very brief time window to respond to incoming high burst damage because of that one second.

I used to love playing Lucio, but that love diminishes every day because you have almost zero to none game changing, noticable play potential.

I'm more drawn to Zen and Ana because of this.
