what do you do if you happen upon a level 100 hater and all you have is a bunch of mats?

I just pull out my crossbow and fire a bunch of 200 damage bolts into their fucking skull.

Turns out there's a hidden hunger mechanic. According to the arcade guy, if you've eaten recently, your health will regenerate faster and your stamina will last longer. In this way, even something like a defense shroom can act as healing I guess.

Eating mushrooms actually does heal a small amount in addition to activating the "full status" for the passive heal. I just eat buff mushrooms every time I see them and don't plan to save them while hurt.

L1+R1 taunts. I don't know if it's randomized at generation or if it's related to race and gender.

Sprinting for a distance then pressing X will drop kick. Knocks down and does a fuckload of damage. Remember to stomp. Repeat dropkicks might even stagger for a Goretastic if they don't kill outright. If you fuck up you'll be forced to do a long get up, so don't miss.

You can always get two stomps in after a Stealth Backdrop. This kills the Hater.

For some reason, second hammer strike can be linked into a buzz saw knuckle full combo. If the second hammer attack hits, the buzz saw comes in too fast to be blocked/dodged out of, so use this if you have those particular weapons on hand.

Robber Crossbow's Rage move is GOAT and doesn't use ammo. It can also be used when you have no more ammo left (0/0 bullets), so always keep one on hand until it breaks. Same with the Magnum, but the Crossbow has better damage for some reason.

The bare fist's L1/R1 does more damage than the bare fist's Rage move, but the Rage move has heavy knockback and can give you some breathing room. Choose wisely.

Doing the raid tutorial completely (which ends with the raid on the bot waiting room) opens you up to be raided yourself.

HOWEVER, you can't access bank (coin/SPL max capacity) or freezer (fighter storage) upgrades UNTIL you finish the tutorial.

You purposely do not have a high enough coin capacity to buy permanent stickers/tattoos/decals beforehand, and only having three fighter slots sucks dick, so...

As people in this thread will tell you, capturing a fighter is a ridiculously low chance thing. Unless you get raided super hard by lots of people, it's not likely that you'll lose your waifus.

But if that bothers you, you can keep your waifus/husbandos in the freezer. That makes them safe (I think) because they don't go out and fight, and thus can't get knocked out to be captured.

The problem with this plan is that if no one is defending your shit, people can freely walk into your Waiting Room and rob you fucking blind of your hard earned Death Coins and SPLithium.

So choose: money or waifus. Either way, you CANNOT, repeat, CANNOT, opt out of the PvP portion of Let It Die once you finish the raid tutorial. You either purposely gimp yourself incredibly hard by denying yourself upgrades, or you harden the fuck up and put some waifus on the table like the rest of us.

Crossbow's Rage Attack has better damage, assuming you fit the target completely in the cone. Also more ammo in general and better fire rate.

Another quick reminder to anyone who just skimmed through the in game explanations because that happens way too often:

Money you get from chests/suitcases goes STRAIGHT to the bank. Don't even worry about it; it's yours.

Money you get from enemy kills stay on your person until you return back to the Waiting Room. Same with SPL. If you die, it's gone. Make it a point to return to the Waiting Room every now and then to at least cash out, even if you're making comfortable progress.

The first raid was a dev NPC area. There are tons of them to make sure you can keep raiding without needing to hit real players if you don't want that.

If no one is defending you won't lose a character but they can wreck your spirit/money totem things.

I dont know if this is a frequent problem many people have or is it just me but my PS4 occasionally gets stuck in a loop ejecting discs even if there are no discs inserted. It just keeps trying to eject them , making a loud noise and refuses to take any discs. The way to fix this temporarily is by unplugging the power cord for an hour. I have owned so many consoles from all brands and this one has give me the most problems. Even the controller sticks always break.

I tested going up an escalator and then down an escalator for Coen. He didn't respawn, but that may have been due to it being the escalator right after him or just because it was one floor away.

Stamina is a bad stat to level early on. It adds so little for normal characters. I would say HP=STR or DEX > VIT (defense) =LUK (critical hits) > STM
