Guile got a two bar v-trigger and I think it's dumb, and he's one of the characters I play.

I'm guessing they'll make it last shorter, remove the corner loops and decrease the amount of booms he can throw. I can't really blame them, I'd rather Guile be a more fundamental character and after hearing that Ryu's getting buffs on his fireballs I'm guessing they'll go in that direction.

I really do enjoy Xrd, but I honestly think the FRC system was better. I enjoy when it just brought you back to a neutral state without freezing everything for a sec. I think an FRC system with some sort of buffer would have worked to help with lazy people, but it is what it is.

I think the infinity gems may literally function as assists as well. Like in the trailer Power Gem gives a wall bounce combo extender and Time Gem lets her teleport behind the enemy. Maybe those are one time "X-factor" effects, but they could easily be repeatable effects like an assist. All they've said is no "call-in assists".

In MSH gems are items you have to fight for and pick up mid-match. The drops are random and the effects don't fundamentally add abilities to your character that you can build a team around. Most of them are just simple stat boosts. We already know (said by Capcom themselves) that Stones are like grooves in that you pick which one you want before each fight and it will grant your characters entirely new moves and properties that fundamentally change the way you okay that character.

The speed gem gives you a teleport and what looks to be a custom combo system. That is far, far more substantive than any of the gems in MSH combined.

You either never played MSH for longer than 5 mins or are legit mentally ill if you think that system is closer to MSH sto CvS2
