Early game is easy as fuck regardless, so you've literally nothing to worry about. You'll easily get by with the fortnight units for example, which will help you get raid bosses, and then those raid bosses will carry you later and are always relevant regardless.

Actually the exact same unit, I don't know why but he's my fondest character I've maxed. It helps that I only managed to farm ~15-20 books the first time Wedding Nami came around but still managed to max him with so few and he was easy as piss to socket. Only finished his candies a few weeks ago but god damn he's so useful, made TNami Colo much easier on top of just being a massive security blanket for any team that uses him.

the max perona is nice but optional, there are two ways of clearing the forest, the way I failed at doing it, via damage reduction and taking your time methodically, and plowing through it with overwhelming damage like the guy in the last thread succeeded at.

You use Usopp against Thatch, Fossa, the lobsters, and wave 19. You use Doffy and Aokiji against whitebeard. Enel's special isn't required but acts as insurance if you fuck up during the two turns of Aokiji boost.

In order to beat wave 19 with G3, you will either need multiple turns of good orb luck to kill Vista before he attacks, high autoheal to recover from taking damage from Marco, or run into a Marco with a 3 turn cooldown on stage 18 so you can kill him without taking damage and tank one hit from Vista on stage 19. Your order of priority on stage 19 is Izo/Ace > Rakuyo > Blamenco > Vista, assuming you have enough HP to tank a hit from Vista. Swap Blamenco and Vista otherwise.

LL is more lenient.

Make sure to save attack cotton candy for raid magellan then, the way Magellan's special works is it does half his attack, then triples every turn till it hits 1.5 mil, then it lasts for the remainder of the 9 turns, so a higher attack means more damage for longer.

They both have use and are sometimes use together to deal with stage 4th and boss of a colo level for example.
As a f2p captain he is also very useful to build shiki/fuji team (I would advice getting at least one copie just for that).
If you have Fuji/Doffy and no Caesar, you need him, if you have Caesar well it's better to have him but you'll be fine with just Caesar.

If you guys don't want to blow your brains out, I'm gonna recommend a madman strategy.

Farm up maybe 45 Shiki copies. Wait for the skill up rate increase + skill up event to roll around. Enjoy your maxed Shiki and saved gems for a raid that takes forever to farm. You're probably an idiot if you save Pigs/Turtle for super success so 45 box space being rented to him shouldn't really be a hinderance at all. If you're worried about sockets, as long as you get your chain/despair/autoheal to decent levels you could probably socket book the rest or throw in any defense books you get from Ace anniversary into Shiki for maximum optimal feeds.

I couldn't stay sane farming that many Shikis after the nightmare Boa was. Am I in the wrong here?
