You people complaining about how Mordecai sucks don't quite understand, so I'll break it down for you guys.
Mordecai is a card designed to dominate games that go long. Mordecai used to be so good that people constantly complained about him and wanted him to get nerfed, because the game used to have a slower midrange meta, where he fucking dominates to the point of absurdity.
However, now the meta has sped up, so Mordecai isn't as good. Not only that, but there's a lot of Haven, which fucks Shadow over. Control Shadow is actually a pretty good deck if you look at its winrates, it's just unfit for the meta due to Haven. This is Mordecai's main problem; he's not so great in the current meta. Does that mean he needs to be reworked? Of fucking course not. Not every card is going to be great in every meta, and buffing Mordecai would have disastrous balance results because his ability is actually incredibly dangerous. Mordecai STILL dominates games that go long, if you've ever played Control Shadow v Control Sword, you'd know that Mordecai shuts them down hard unless they're running Odin. Not to mention he steals wins in Arena, he'd be fucking tier 0 in arena if they applied some of the incredibly fucking stupid "buffs" I've heard today in this thread.
TL;DR the card is fine just not fit for the current meta and buffing cards that are strong but not good in the current meta is retarded since the meta changes, especially with the new expac soon.

Its an amazing utility card for this meta though. It not only can double your storm damage, it also its great for "silencing" buffed minions like ancient elf and Elana or evolve buffed dudes. A lot of the time forest will get a big ancient elf out on turn 4/5 and if you don't have a dance of death you can knock it down to a 2/3 and clear it without losing dudes on your board.

She is a good waifu for storm haven or storm dragon, as well as a great support card for last word heavy decks.
