Why do I love Widowmaker so much? It's pretty simple when I think about it. As she grapples through the objectives, the men swoon at her very scent. They know how she smells, the essence of her smell is sold in the blizzard store under the the name of "Blueberry pie scent". The very nature of Widowmaker is mystery. could she be playing a deeper game than even her creator realizes? The answer is yes, she has transcended such boundaries as the written world, and has free will to do whatever she sees fit. However, Widowmaker is filled with such guile, such french smugness that she does not even use these powers. Why, you might ask? You will never know, for the mind of the Widowmaker is not one that is easily penetrated. Widowmaker is such a force of nature in her realm that nothing can truly touch her, the only thing keeping her bound to the game at all is her will to exist within the preordained boundaries of her world. Widowmaker is not only beyond the comprehension of us, she exists within a plane of true focus and beauty. Observe her smug smile, her gorgeous and rippling ass, her cute nose, and most importantly, her eyes. Her eyes, like pools of saffron, provide the only glimpse into the true machinations of Widowmaker. Do not stare into them. Many good men have gone mad in the attempt. Goddammit, Quickplay sucks. It is just a giant waste of time for people want to win, because all the shittiest SR 2000 players pick characters they don't know how to play, do absolutely nothing, and I'm stuck with gold elims as support.

I used to love playing as a BLU attack engineer with a friend or two in 12v12 or 16v16 payload servers.

Put the teleporters up, place our sentries and dispensers at comfy spots and then just spam goofy voice lines, taunt and bash in the occasional RED spy's heads in. Chill times.

It depends on the enemy comp. If they're shitting out AOE damage, Lucio will sometimes outheal you cleaning up all the trash damage, but generally you should always be number one because your heal rate is insane.

I know anon, I know. I play fuckton of Lucio, I know everything about him.

My fear is that one day Blizzard may decide that Lucio had enough of that sweet pickrate and nerf his songs into oblivion and buff nothing about him, thinking this will make him "kind of viable" from "100% pick" while in truth it would destroy him completely since he would then excel at nothing and be dead weight.

I can kind of see this happening, god forbid, first they nerfed his speed amp it up, then his heal amp it up, and they changed nothing else. Yes, nerfing those may be a good step in reducing his "mandatory-ness" but you have to give him back to compensate, otherwise he becomes garbage.

I'd may be ok with it if they gave him some more offensive capabilities if they are so set on nerfing his songs. Like a full auto fire mode on speed mode, or increased damage, or no cooldown on boops.

The maps are full of chokes. If you were actually up the front fighting you would be able to keep them pushed back for as long as possible.

Instead your own team has a weakened frontline because you're up the back twiddling your thumbs. Well yeah the other team isn't gonna have much trouble busting that up so then you have to deal with whoever is left on your own.

You have to occupy as much space infront of the objective as possible instead of waiting until they get there and hoping they don't win in a 6v6.

/owg/, this is why I main Widow:

When I pick her, my team complains, doesn't matter if it's on defense, attack, KotH, or whatever.

When we are winning, they stop complaining.

When we lose, they blame me 100% for the loss. THIS IS OKAY. I accept this fact.

Why? Because as a Widow main, my job is to carry the entire team to victory on my own without their help. When I lose, it is entirely my fault because I didn't play good enough to carry everyone and win the match. When I win, it was because I stayed on top of my game at 100% the ENTIRE match, and covered everyone else's weaknesses, which is why they don't say shit when we are winning.

Every other hero can suck and still contribute to their team. But no one else contributes more to their team while also having to play at their best their entire time throughout the match.

Everyone expects you to carry them to victory without their help, that's why they can blame you for losing the match. This is why your team gives up the moment you pick Widow, because they expect you to do all the work. They are correct. You will be doing all the work yourself without their help as they complain and/or AFK, or just goof off instead of trying to win. That's why Widow gets so much pressure.

Embrace that pressure, Widow Mains. That is what makes you feel more alive.

That's not what "meta" means.

Meta is reactive. Whatever is strong needs to be countered. So people will play counter picks. Then those counters also need counters, so people play counters to the counters.

Ideally, you get a kind of rock-paper-scissors effect that keeps the game from feeling stale and a lot of heroes show up in regular rotation. However, Blizzard kind of fucked up by making nano-boosted soldier and dva so strong that it pushes out half the heroes in the game currently. Hence, the current meta is labeled as stale and boring by a lot of full-time streamers or pro players.

To be fair though, nano-boosted genji or reaper was also getting stale. Sombra was supposed to mix all that up, but Blizzard fucked that up as well.

All we can do now is just wait and hope for the best. Or find another game to play if you need a break from the monotony.

How do we fix Sombra?

I think a good way to redesign her ultimate would be to remove the damage/speed boost and have it give the target infinite health for something like 6 to 8 seconds, and then all the damage they sustained during that time hits them in the face causing them to die potentially from the burst.

Because her damage is laughably terrible, it takes too long for her to go into and come out of invisibility, her ult range is too low, and the only way to play her is by tickling people and running away before they can turn around and kill you.
