Short crosshair is used by virtually 100% of pros, because you can't see the head to make sure it's properly aligned unless there's a gap in the middle of the crosshair. If it's a solid dot it will obscure the head and you can be off, especially at long range where the dot is bigger than the head.

2d plane games are of limited value anyway unless you're totally new to point and click adventures, or your refleves have gone potato for sime reason. Moving a crosshair through a 3d space requires differenet adjustments to keep on target

the other half of aiming is moving into a position to make it easier on yourself, flick-shotting someone who appears off to the side is cool but why not blow them away as they're running right at you?

I got this game a week ago and I haven't played an fps in years so I'm struggling to adjust to it again. When I get into firefights I tend to swing my crosshair back and forth and I have real trouble hitting people. The worst is characters like Genji and Lucio who are constantly jumping and they just seem to be faster than me. I've turned my sensitivity down and I've been trying this Ana headshot practice thing but I still lose my cool in those close engagements and just end up spraying bullets everywhere.

Any tips?

I honestly hope she stays weak, the character doesn't have 150 life, is extremely mobile and fucking invisible, letting her get into positions tracer can't.

Buff her damage? Bullshit instant kills from invis, yes you can hear it and it's loud, but she can't hold her own when she picks fights even when she has the advantage, give her more damage and she can pick off healers and dps and become boss nigger.

Buff her hacking? Now she is the most annoying fucking character to play against and no medkits for anyone.

So I get the whole counter thing, but a hero shouldn't just win because it's that pick. You literally, and I mean fucking literally, cannot play the character in any effective way other than to run away and zipline ledge to ledge feeding meter.

I think that if a character is a hard counter to that extent, it needs to have a hard counter of it's own.

I really want a tank buster character than will 9 times out of 10 kill a tank, but lose to most other dps classes.

If you want to win, just play Lucio every game. Even if you do nothing but leave heal aura on all game and run like a bitch from everything you will get into high Gold.

If you want to fantasize about satisfying ALL of your teams needs, play Mercy every game.

But Mercy is honestly the least useful healer atm, aside from big Rezes which can win you the point if the Mercy is good. No damage output of her own, damage amp is negligible on most DPS, and can't keep up health on multiple targets quickly enough to matter.

Team got pushed way too easily because everyone else ignored the Reinhardt on our team with the shield and just went off on their own and died. I just let him keep saying shit while I played until we lost.
