They didn't even have to make new content. What people have been asking for (for years) is balance updates.

The Crit-a-Cola has been overpowered in tandem with the Shortstop since it was released, and Valve decided to buff it three times.

It's blatantly obvious that the development team doesn't play the game at all. They called in people who played the game competitively (or as close to "competitively" you can get when your game is a complete joke) to help balance the game and seemingly ignored every piece of information they gave.

Everyone who plays TF2 hates the development team. I have yet to see a single (as in, 1) person who believes that the TF2 team is doing a great job and improves the game with every update.

The problem with pirate warrior, which Forsen correctly pointed out, is that pirate warrior has no draw power. It needs to get warlock hero power from finley to get things going. Right now pirate warrior is already pretty strong but it has trouble dealing with even the weakest of taunt because they run no execute, and by turn 6 or 7, they usually run out of cards and start relying on topdecking.

Execute is a dead card most of the times and just lowers your overall damage.
Pirate warrior is a deck that goes all in. All or nothing. Running Execute is like trading unnecessarily in pure Face Hunter. You simply don't do it.

Real talk, /hsg/, I'm serious here. Is this rock bottom? A handful of Gadgetzan cards literally shut down the rest of the very same set. They can only make better expansions after this, right?

Can't wait for the MSoG control meta. And by control meta I mean the Jade Druid meta. No control deck can deal with 2 big threats a turn AND develop a threat of their own. Not even warrior. Druid has the best golem generators and also has infinite generators. Fatigue won't matter since you'll run out of removal and die to a 22-22 before you die to fatigue. Druids generators also have excellent ways to slow down the game/speed themselves up (jade behemoth is far better than that shaman 7 mana 5-5 that gives a golem taunt, ramp that starts the golem train).

The only answer is aggro, but aggro doesn't even exist on ladder right now. Secret Hunter, Midrange shaman, and tempo mage are all midrange decks that can pull off insane openers(the only way a deck like this can beat jade druid is with said insane opener, or a decent opener followed by a big tempo swing-hex/freezing trap/etc). Zoo is dead because lmao4boardclear+shittonsoftauntminionshaman.

It's a high risk, high reward card.

If you play it at the right time in the late game it slows the opponent down significantly but since it costs 10 mana playing it into an enemy removal would be really bad.

In most situations it's a card you would play in heavy control match ups, you wait until your opponent has used all their silence/transforms and then you drop it to create a huge obstacle for them.

Xaril is pretty unplayable in the current meta. Can't even trade with a Totem Golem yet it's 2 times as expensive.
A good buff to him would be if his cards were 0 mana. Or at least one of them was 0 and the other the regular cost. Like the Battlecry cost 1 mana, but the deathrattle cost 0 since the enemy can prevent the deathrattle.

honestly I think reno mage might be stronger than renolock, largely due to the Kazakus and Inkmaster synergy. Being able to cheat out your 10 cost Kazakus card turn 7 is nuts, or even just flamestrike/blizzarding while also playing a 5/5.

Maybe renolock will remain stronger but I think reno mage has the potential to match it.

Rat Pack is a bit too build-around. 2/2 that gives two 1/1s when it dies for 3 mana is about on par with Imp Gang Boss, potentially better and potentially worse. To make it really good, you need to either buff it on the battlefield after praying that it stays on the field for a turn or you need to buff it in your hand, which is a mechanic that won't see the meta.

The Priest 5 mana one? If you get him on two or three, Songstealer doesn't matter. the issue with Priest is that they might have Death, not that they can silence you after you've killed them. And the Defias Cleaner only works on Deathrattle.

Those are the only silences I remember. He is weak to devolve, I grant you, but the top-rated Shaman decks might not have room to just fit an A- card in them.

So why should I play reno priest when greater healing potion exists and I get to run 2x of all my cards

Especially when all Raza does is let me heal even more unless I'm running 2x shadowform in a reno deck

Lets look at it together and what you should focus your dust on if you ever want to paly some naxx cards in wild:
(Legendary)

Kel'Thuza - Fun but not needed
Maexxna - Uneeded
Feugen - Fun but not needed
Stalagg - Fun but not needed
Loatheb - Good. Playable in a lot of deck depending on what you want to do.
Baron Rivendare - Fun but not needed


(Epic)
Shade of Naxxramas - Fun but not needed
Echoing Ooze - Fun but not needed. Might be good with Goons so lets wait for proper judgement here.


(Rare)

Sludge Belcher - Very good. Must craft for a lot of deck (N’Zoth in particular)
Wailing Soul - Uneeded
Deathlord - Very good. Must craft for some decks (N’Zoth in particular, Mill)
Nerubian Egg - Very good. Must craft for some decks (Zoo or tokens decks)


(Common)

Spectral Knight - meh
Death's Bite - Very good if you want to play warrior.
Poison Seeds - meh
Anub'ar Ambusher - meh
Voidcaller - Good for some warlock deck.
Duplicate - Very good for some reno mage decks
Dancing Swords - meh
Dark Cultist - If you play priest you probably want this. For N’Zoth at least.
Stoneskin Gargoyle - Meh.
Reincarnate - Fun but not necessary.
Haunted Creeper - Very good for a lot of decks.
Mad Scientist - You want this.
Nerub'ar Weblord - Meh.
Unstable Ghoul - Good for some warriors decks.
Avenge - Good for Secret paladin
Undertaker - Good night sweet prince
Webspinner - meh
Zombie Chow - Good for some control decks

So it really depends on what you want to play, and what classes. Legendary-wise there's pretty much only Loatheb that is a must. Then, the rest is mostly rares/commons depending on your tastes. hope this helps.
