The "Renekton Bar" only really became a thing is season 3. In Season 2 Renekton was actually considered fairly weak as top laners go, with a lot of people complaining that he essentially had no passive and did fuck all (this was back in the days of Atmogs and Fratmas and Jarvan jungle every game).

Sure Renekton was gay as fuck later on, but Kennen was cancer way before Renekton was, and hasn't ever stopped.

In spite of having a minor movespeed steroid, garen gets kited harder than darius because he lacks his small E CC and his W slow

He deals less damage than Darius as you can judge from a 1v1 between them where Garen HAS TO dodge Darius Q or else he'll lose the trade super hard

He's tankier naturally but requires good use of his W

From a Jax main, right now hes not in too good spot. But, if you main him, he is still viable, and literally a cockroach when it comes to meta and his mains, pretty much anything that gets thrown at them is shrugged off as they keep playing the Champ. He has lots of ways to build, so find your own, and have lots of patience. It'll pay off in the long run with the champ.

Also, for tips? Dont die, especially early, thats the main priority.

As for GP, you really have to pay attention to the barrels as they ignore 40% of your armor. You can dodge the parrley with your E, but he can cleanse the stun with his orange.
Fiora is all about knowing when trade, if you see her using her parry stupidly, you can go in with ease as you can cheese the trade with your E disallowing her to get the vital procs.
Irelia is a lane where you mostly farm, as well as you save your E when she uses her Hiten Style (The true damage addition to her autoattacks) to deny her damage and healing.
Darius is mostly playing safe and trying to avoid bleed stacks, but couple of nifty things to know are that you can Q into darius if he uses his Q if you cant get away, as well as you can dodge his slow because its an AA modifier.

I just played kayle against xin top.

I feel violated. I feel like I'll never be able to play league of legends again. I got ganked by the jungler lvl 4 and then proceeded to get the assraping of my fucking life. I went 0/7 within 15 minutes. I couldnt walk into lane without just being jumped and just destroyed. I couldnt even farm under turret as he'd just dive me (Through my ult, flash, q slows, nothing). He would just continuously dive me and only me for the rest of the game nonstop till we surrender. I ended up with 15 deaths.

the reason people get triggered by "ranged characters" is that a melee vs ranged matchup is innately one-sided unless the melee champion has a massive strength to make up for it

Yasuo ignores ranged matchups by having such a gap closer that he's instantly in melee range whenever he wants it if he wants it

Zed farms at the range of a ranged champion and can outtrade you without even going in melee range
