When is the best time to do the kid missions in Conquest? Should I grab them asap to get them on my team and start using and leveling them or make sure I have decent (as decent as I can on conquest at least) skills to pass down first?

Only have one pairing that can S so far and I could pass some okay skills down but I still haven't promoted either of the parents so there's some potentially good skills I wouldn't pass down yet. Inheritance doesnt matter as much since the kid will usually have access to all the parent classes anyway. Slap on whatever's convenient and leave it at that

She's extremely average. Promoting her to sage will give her a lot of desperately needed speed.

She will one-round pretty much anything that she can double with her monstrous magic, but is very very squishy (in addition to being so slow) which keeps her from being one of the best units.

I'd say that par for the course in terms of HP. WIth high enough speed and luck, most units will have a difficult time landing blows, and the units likely to succeed won't deal enough damage to oneshot her, except maybe myrmidons, but then again mages aren't meant to be punching bags, so it's not like anon would use her on the front lines anyway.

Awakening and Birthright get ripped on because almost every map is a giant wide open field with no chokepoints. Previous games had those too, but they did a much better job of switching it up and having a variety of different designs. It's not that the maps are bad in themselves, it's just that they're sorely lacking in variety so it makes them pretty boring after a while, and it's even worse in Awakening because the map design promotes just turtling and waiting out the enemies with almost no reason ever not to.

Revelations maps get shit on because they're legitimately terrible.

Got tired of making the maps a third of the way into the chart so I left out 7, 9-12, and Conquest, but I hope this gets across that there's some variety that I feel like Awakening and Birthright are missing. Not to say all of these games have perfect map design, or that there aren't Awakening style levels, or that Awakening-style levels can't be good, just that Awakening has Awakening-style levels and doesn't really change it up.
