Sounds good to me. The nice part about that initial KotFE dump was you got all of it right away for just subbing once but then they wanted you to stay subbed for each of the next chapters if you didn't feel like waiting for them to all be out. Fine. Can't even let me have my fun. I was hoping for someone else to come forward yelling about getting splitroasted by an entire guild or something and then booted.

There are several ways to make money in this game (besides buying credits).

Easiest way costs real money. You buy cartel coins. You buy packs. You sell the packs or the products within and take what you want from within those packs.

The next one takes a bit of time and effort. You have alts that create items and alts that gather items. You make things that will sell on the GTN. It is all rather cyclical so something that sold well a few months ago might be sitting on the GTN unsold. So you need to look and see what is hot.

Another way is to do the weekly heroics. I suggest doing it with guildies / friends or going into fleet and asking for a group (the bigger the group - the faster it is done and bigger the bonus).

If you go through all of them you will easily make close to 2 million if you are with a full group.

Another way to do it is to scan the GTN for items. This takes time and IMHO is the least efficient way of making money. But you can occasionally find a good item that is dirt cheap and you can "flip it" and resell it for profit. Limit yourself to armor, weapons and mounts for that search. Anything else you will be wasting your time.

All those are moot if you don't enjoy the game. Yeah the ERP thing is a joke that I and others enjoyed playing on you guys. We love you that is why we kid. This is the only time I will admit that "ERP MAKES YOU RICH" is just a meme.

From now on I will just say "ERP". Now you know.

Nope. I guess it helps with the role playing aspect is that I become one with whoever I am playing.

For example my Jedi Knight is a very good moral person who would never do anything wrong and follows the Jedi Code.

When I play my agent I am amoral and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

So when I am slutting it up I become that. When I am finished and do something else whatever I did no longer impacts me because that was in game. It doesn't stick to me.

(then again - who knows what psychological impact it may have on me without me being fully aware of it. I may have to look into this.)

I couldn't stand smuggler Smuggity McSmugmug more than one run. Bounty Hunter on the other hand is pretty good with how you can approach it. As much as people praise agent I didn't like it. Chapters 1 and 2 were alright but chapter 3 turned into totally-not-super-generic-conspiracy which soured the whole thing.

Lightning spec didn't know what resource management was but madness was crying for better passives because they're (if my memory serves me right) the only spec with negative resource over the course of their rotation. I agree that they needed some kind of change but they went too far and as you said, it's only pure incompetence.

The dps charts should go melee dot > melee burst > ranged dot > ranged burst and all should stay withing reasonable margins from each other, not the over 1k difference between top and bottom we're going to have now.

I know that Bioware has always been retarded when it comes to balance but this is going beyond simple incompetence.

Do heroics. do the bonuses. Granted now you only get 10% EXTRA instead of the 100% per additional person. But you can still make a nice bit of coin.

Get an alt who is is a scavenger or picks up other materials that crafters use.

yeah, I know, just sucks seeing the raiding community shrink so much and capitulate to mediocre players just to fill teams. there's no drive to improve among most of the newer players I see in groups, they're fine being dragged through stuff and often don't care for mechanics. Meanwhile Nim has become pretty insular and that's largely due to the skill level of the average player falling while the 10 month gap in skill requirement during 3.0 setting the bar low for what people thought nim would need.
