It's still basically AB2. It just gets extra utility against raid bosses.

If you only have one, I'd actually recommend a neutral medal like Jack Skellington since he can be used against any raid boss and he won't lose utility since it'll still have AB2. If you have three, then one for each type would be worthwhile.

As long as it's a multi-target medal, it's good for Lux Plus since it can hit the limbs of a raid boss.

Belle is mandatory for future one/two-turn objectives. Poison+ isn't mandatory, but it's still a big help in that regard, and works perfect with her medal.

What the he'll am I doing wrong, /khg/? I went and mercy pulled for HD Sora but I I am still losing to the damn dark ball and copter group. Should I be using skills like Second Chance and AB2 Max to get through this horseshit? I only have one more AB2 max left and I am not sure which medals to even give Second Chance to. My current strongest medals that deal damage are Meowjesty and Marxy A.

Probably the biggest thing you're missing, unfortunately. This HSC is more reliant on how far you can get, so HD Sora's 21% multiplier means jack shit if you can't get past the lv 300s. I'm running 7% + 21% Friend's HD Sora and can get to the lv 480 before dying. Try going in with your strongest set up and see how far you can get, but unfortunately you will need at least Pooh/Piglet in order to clear the later mobs.

That depends on what's your best set up, but Marluxia B is great for this HSC so Divine Rose edges out due to a higher slot multiplier for Reverse Speed. Much to my dismay, you can probably make it pretty far using:

iKairi with Second Chance
HD Sora with Poison+ or any skill with AP+
Jack&Sally with AP+ or Poison+
Jack&Sally with AP+ or Poison+
Marluxia B with Atk Boost II/III
Friend Medal with Sleep+ (preferably HD Sora)

It's still gonna be an RNG-fest since you will need to proc Second Chance on the Copter Fleet but keep trying.

Two days ago I did pretty good in the high score challenge and at the time I was in the 3100s. The day after that I was in the 3400s and I was feeling confident that I could actually get the exclusive medal for once.
Now I'm in the 4300s and I'm getting anxious. There's three days left in the challenge and that seems like an eternity right now. Just this one time man, I want an exclusive medal and this practically as close as I'm ever going to get.
My score is 7,066,611 and I don't think I can get much higher.

It's different every time since the challenges themselves differ pretty drastically from week to week. A good way to approach is to know you're pretty much never safe unless you can somehow kill everything in the quest with decent bonus percent or you're able to kill all the weak enemies + some of the higher level stuff with a really freakin' high multiplier.
Basically, keep throwing yourself at it and hope you get better RNG that lets you get a higher score. Being top 3000 early on might be fine sometimes and not others, but at this point in the week there are still a whole bunch of people that haven't even done it yet and will push you out when they finally attempt it. Not much else you can do without spending the dosh.

Let's say there's 100 Whales out there, who all guilt whatever medal is in the EMC. That's $1400 to guilt (plus the hope it's a near max roll). That's at least $140,000 plus whatever else the rest of the userbase sink per EMC. Let's say approx 100 people get the weekly jewel deal, that's another $4000-$5000 a month. Over 12 months that makes $1.8mil at a very very very low minimum for SENA. That's not even taking into account SEJP.

For whatever reason, last night I was thinking how KHII and Advent Children destroyed Cloud and Sephiroth's characters. In the original game, Cloud goes from being a sarcastic ass to a weirdo, then to a nerd as the game progresses. Sephiroth on the other hand seems to always be half aware of where he actually is, and his dialogue is more him monologing to himself then speaking directly to the characters.

KHI still had bits and pieces of this, but by KHII it became clear that Cloud was super angry super self-doubting emo man, and Sephiroth became just a generic villain character. Imagine how much better those portions of the game would have been if Cloud had random bouts of either hallucinating or being a jerk, and if Sephiroth was spaced and speaking to the sky half the time.

It's not really clear to anyone. It seemed like it might have been similar to the source material, but then KHII indicated it might be some sort of Ven/Vanitas situation. Aerith was implied to have a role in their arc in the KH ending credits, but then she has zero interaction with him in the sequel and Tifa assumes the role. Then there's the fact that young Zack, a Hercules world inhabitant in BBS, get's [??????] by Sephiroth, which doesn't even make sense in the context of the above information, and brings into question whether Cloud and Sephiroth even have a relation to the residents of Hollow Bastion.

Nomura's a hack writer though, so we can probably attribute all of the above to plot holes rather than an underlying plot.

Try going for the 15 enemy objectives. You gotta count on most of them showing up, and you don't get any of the shit debuffs in each encounter.

The mid-level jesters in the last quest in particular can go fornicate with a rusty pipe.

They're the definition of tried and true. Very little changes in the overall mechanics from the very first game to this day. You've played one, you've played most of them, so if you're one of those people who cry "rehash" at everything, it's not your kind of game.

The stories are incredibly basic and formulaic, but it's the action, characters and the world itself that carry them. Cute and quirky tends to be the norm, and Akira Toriyama's artstyle gives them a lot of personality. The enemies themselves are full of it, too, and are so popular and timeless that there's even been spin-offs based entirely around them.

Beware, though, this is a series that will make you suffer, since Japan hoards a lot of it. Most of the main series has been localized at this point, but don't expect to see new releases in English for a long while.

The sountracks are great, very ambient compared to FF's more action-y style so it'll scratch a different kind of itch.

I'm huge on FF, but I think it's really sad that SE's other big RPG series doesn't get as much love in the West. I'd recommend you start at III or IV if you decide to get into it.

From what I heard (I haven't used Status+ yet) the status procs, then the skill immediately after, so my understanding is Vexen will have a 54% chance of doing his full amount, and leaving the enemies paralyzed. Following up would be a 4 dot Hag or Luxord, since both get a bonus off paralysis.

So how excited are y'all to finally see Kingdom Hearts .02 when it's finally released? It'll have been another three months since we got the last trailer when it eventually does come out in January.

So I dropped all my Jewels into this deal. Four pulls. I'll need to pay get the HD Sora... But anyway, rate my outcome:

The Good:
- Got 6* Final Form Sora and Xemnas, which let me easily guilt them.
- Got Boosted Lea and enough to Guilt it.
- Got a ton of BC Mickeys, close to finishing that too.
- Got Isa to 4 dots from these pulls alone.

The Bad:
- Got two Boosted medals and they were both Lea.
- Got KHII Kairi and Namine as 6*. No use for dots on them, already had them, and would prefer them at 5* for cost reasons.
- Got two Musketeers as my other 6*.
- Guilt ranges pretty poor. 75/75/85.
- My last pull was godawful. Got mostly support medals I already had.

Count my blessings, or could things have gone better?
