Well titty shards get you up to +3 and you get dreamchaser ashes in farron keep near the wolf covenant which let you buy all the titty shards you want, so I figure +4 should be fine since it'd be +/- 2 weapon levels. I don't think anyone is in the swamp at +1, I'd figure most are between +2 and 3, maybe topping out at +4 since the first large titty shard upgrade comes cheap.

What gives you the biggest relative advantage is not really interesting, since you'll be invading people of a higher SL as well.

You should look at what the most common SL and WL is in each area, then increase your own SL and WL just above that so the most common SL and WL fall just near your lower invasion boundary.

How comprehensive are the softbans in das2? How accurate are they?

Is it the same rules as das3 where you just have to use common sense and not change things like stats and sl? Can i item swap if i go offline to do it?

I'd just like to know what is going through your head when you do it. Of course you're entitled to use whatever gesture you want after a fight. You can get a +4 weapon by cathedral by killing the giants, or nowadays by hitting the DLC early. I would go +5 but I am far too skrimpy when it comes to weapon damage to use a +2 millwood greatbow, the difference in damage is just too great for me. It really annoys me since in DaSII and III there really is no reason to have special weapons go to only +5 other than pure tradition.

Got around to playing unpatched DaS, what an experience. Finally beat it, I think pre patch izalith is so much worse pre patch shrine of amana, so many fucking dragon asses.

Game is definitely tougher than any of the other games in the series. No soul dupe bug with means I can't tell into temptation.

actually the ds3 has the best Claymore

same moveset of ds1 but the 2hr2 is a thrust instead of a wide arc, normally this would be considered a bad thing but there isn't as much of a need to dead angle in ds3 so it works more in your favor

i have always had a thing for greatswords in souls games and if i need the wide arcing r2 then i will switch to one of the 11 greatswords i have fully upgraded that has it (usually the flamberge because its the longest)
