Idk I realize I play at a downwards trajectory as the match goes on. I can get fed in lane and go 5/0, and then if the game is short around 20 minites I might end the game 6/0, or if the game is longer I'll die a few times but still win maybe end the game 5/5 or 5/6. Or I might win lane and then fall behind and go from 5/0 to 5/5 and lose the game, but I've never once made a comeback in this game after playing around 400 matches since I started a few seasons ago. A lot of games if I don't get stupidly ahead in lane I go 0/X almost assuredly, so I've realized that it's just not in my ability to play up hill so I usually quit when mt KDA goes negative, because once laning ends, my KDA and my agency or influence on the game can only go down from there. Typically I'll get any number of kills, whether that's 2 or if it's 10, and then once I die a single time I'll be unable to get an additional kill for the entire remainder of the game even when I maintain a lead.

I've only started leaving my games recently, in the last few months or so after I hit level 30 and started playing ranked sometimes. I had at least 300 games before that of course (how else would I even manage to get to 30 playing this way all the time?) and I never could man. There's simply too many things on the screen. I'll lose matches because I couldn't tell one champ from another as multiple champs with dashes criss crossed on top of each other and I ignited or exhausted the wrong one. I know what I'm looking for, I've been part of hundreds of teamfights, and I can't see it because there's too much shit on the screen.

I'll have games where I win despite fucking slogging through them, and I'll finish something like 2/5 and I'll derive absolutely no please from the experience even when I'm looking at VICTORY and (+33LP) afterwards. If anything the challenging but won games feel the worst at all, I don't feel good because the fact it was challenging in the first place means I didn't do well, and they feel undeserved even after I've won. I genuinely feel better if I stomp the shit out of my lane, almost, win, and then something unfortunate happens like I have a 0/23 bot lane or it's a 4v5 and I just write it off as "eh I did okay, this one doesn't count". I'd say Jinx over Trist, Trist needs a bit of AD before she can really shred towers, Jinx can do it at pretty much any time with Pow-Pow. Yi, Shaco or Udyr for jungle, and Veigar actually takes towers pretty easily because of how much AP he gets, though Ziggs passive+satchel+possible lichbane still beats him.

So they may not have been ranked, but they were still semi serious, and they had all the components of the ranked games I played through too. I've done hundreds of team fights, and the ones in my normals are identical to the team fights in my ranked games. Hell, the majority of ranked games were arguably less serious than a lot of my normal games. Enemies with incomplete rune pages and people playing champs they had less than ten games on. A lot of those pre-30 games with friends were much more difficult and serious than my ranked games.

That's the same problem I had when I started.

All my friends had been playing for years, I figured I'd play with them since they had experience.

I was being matched with plats when I had never played the game before. It was miserable and I quit anything that wasn't bots after that. After a while I decided to get back into the game, went in solo and was matched with people who had also just started the game.

Now I'm in plat. Not by quitting when things get hard but by forcing myself to play when it was hard, by picking up teamfight focused champions and late game focused champions and forcing myself into situations I couldn't deal with.

I dunno. I've played hundreds of games, obviously there's multiple team fights per game, and then on top of that there's the streams I watch and I watch my replays, and it doesn't help. I can't tell what's going on. If you put more than 3 champs on the screen there's simply too much visual clutter. I can't even immediately identify each individual champ at all times or identify which skills have already been used.
