Abridged Android 16 is fantastic.
I loved the callback to the Cooler movie, him calling Swole Trunks an "Unreasonably Buff Bird", and the interaction between him and Krillin was nice.
The entire 16 vs. Imperfect Cell fight was awesome; the Gundam sound effects made it even better.

Considering my internet is eating too much ass to pvp right now I thought I'd fix some stuff up with the hair transformation mod. I noticed the SSJ2 Trunks hair was a little bit off when I was fighting Kyo, and I added Broly's hair for females (the alignment isn't perfect at the back, but it's not noticeable ingame - unavoidable due to the shape of the female head). Also updated the included XV2Patcher as it was a couple of versions out of date.

So I'm debating whether or not I should get Xenoverse 2.
I played 1 and beat the story but netplay pissed me off with SSJs for two reasons:
>1. Ki/Energy meter drained too quickly meaning SSJ transformations didn't last
>2. basically allowed for infinite spam during its duration which was scummy shit
I enjoyed playing as a brawler and remember trying out the other races but I got frustrated at the lack of options for the Frieza race and the Buu race. Has it gotten better compared to 1?

Super saiyan is more of a stat boost now. Infinite ki use isn't a thing, ki drain isn't a thing. Super saiyans get a teleport on charged beam moves though. Spam in general is entirely gone. There are so many counters, not counting the literal counters

SSJ can still be abused with shit like Evil Explosion because of the teleporting. A knockback will give you enough time to fully charge one up and then they have to either sacrifice 3 bars of stamina (either by using an evasive or blocking it) or take the evaporation of their HP bar.

It was good prior to the patch, now its just a bit easier to land.
This time instead of depending on a stamina break, you can just do it against anyone who's under three bars of stamina.It should still do more damage since you can evasive out of it, but I prefer it how it is since it can take up almost every bit of Ki you have to pull off and leave you open after.

Generally speaking, it doesn't really matter where you put your stats. Anywhere is good. Anywhere is nice.
That being said, there are breakpoints you should know about:
42 points in ki/stamina = 1 bar, 84 = 2 bars, 125 = 3 bars.
42 points in basic attack/ki supers/strike supers = +5% damage, 84 = +10%, 125 = +15%

Items give flat stat bonuses, with 1 arrow of ki/stamina being equal to 2/5ths of a bar (hence 5 arrow = 2 bars of ki or stamina). Basic attack/ki supers/strike supers seem to be something like +10 points per arrow, which means +5 at level 80 is the equivalent of +50 points of their respective stat (or a little over +5% more damage).
That should give you a decent idea of how to build without wasted points. The rest depends on your desired playstyle.

No, that's just the Frieza Race, they have very good strings and combos from back-hits its naturally built into the CaCs after all. Cooler for instance is very good at it, and he has the fastest backhit in the entire game if I recall. He's just very scary in his Fifth Form. Most of the DLC from XV1 and new characters in XV2 actually have improved AI in general, the one exception is 17/18 who work like Eis/Nuevo or whatever and their AI works in tandem.
Everyone else from XV1 was basically just ported straight over without any improvements to their AI. I think only Piccolo and Beerus got an improvement to their 4th and 2nd Variations respectively, but that's just due to the new systems in place. While all the new characters were built with those systems entirely in mind.

Final Shine is kind of underwhelming unless you max out ki and dump your entire bar into it. Elegant Blaster's forced unlocking is actually pretty useful and it looks great, though the damage is subpar for an ult.

As I understand it both are slow as fuck, and really stylish.
Can't speak for Elegant Buster's damage, but FSA does all right (not great though) if you have an absurd amount of Ki to spend on it, as you can hold it down.
Elegant Buster does have the benefit of the teleport, which might have some utility in throwing off opponents.
In the end I'd probably ask if you want the warp, or the ability to sustain the beam.
That or just pick whichever you think is nicer looking.

Depends on what you want. Final Shine has more damage, especially at a full Bar, while elegant does less damage but has more utility, with the vanish and taking off their lock-on to you.
My vote is elegant, the vanish has saved my ass more than once and it only costs 300.

Guess I'll do the usual spell but try to make it short.
Domenica here is a shapeshifting humanoid known as an Umbrastellan(a race I created)and he(yes he this is supposed to be a "slim male majin" since DIMPS can't seem to make one themselves)was sent to Earth to protect it's inhabitants as his face reveals themselves to the universe. yatta yatta eventually stuff happens and he eventually gets the gift to travel the multiverse and gets wished by Trunks and the events of XV1 take place, and XV2 it's still Domenica but from a different timeline.
Anyways Domenica is my special character because he's a character I create through multiple video games that allow character creation and it fits the backstory I have for him.
Also the backstory I'm have for Domenica is eventually going to be a full story I hope to one day turn into a video game/movie/animated series or something.

Posted it before, posting it again.
She's a punch-happy lil' teenage monkey with a bit of a hero complex. She looked up to Trunks and his sibling as the paragons of the Time Patrol, heroes who could do no wrong and could always be counted on to save the world.
She nearly jumped at the chance to take on the important mission of becoming like the Hero and fixing the shit Towa and Mira cause. Slowly she realizes that the heroes she looked up to weren't quite as flawless as she thought they were. Trunks getting swapped with Ginyu was what really shattered it and made her rethink why she wanted to join the Time Patrol in the first place.
She had a lot of growing up to do, but eventually came to terms with her hero complex. She's a Saiyan, she loves to fight, but she directs her more violent tendencies towards those that need a good punch in the face. She's still young, naive, and a bit too trusting for her own good, but she has her heart in the right place. And she still looks up to Trunks and the Hero, but sees them more as friends and partners, flaws and all.

I actually thought about this a little more, recently.
12 more or less just started as a 'I want to be an Earthling, but want their strength to make sense', combined with enjoying the Androids Saga.
12 is an unfinished RR Android that was left almost finished, as the RR Army was defeated.
She was left offline for years until she was dragged into being a Time Patroller via a wish.

Sour Patch used to work as muscle for hire before becoming a Patroller. Beating people up was easy and kinda fun, plus she got paid pretty well for doing it. My human Nathan is a guy who's way out of his depth, knew the basics of punching and learned how to use the kamehameha, then basically had to learn to push it to its limits when he got summoned for the time patrol. Hallow popped into existence as all majins do, but nobody was around for it. She had a horrible face with gaping, ghastly eyeholes and there was a graveyard like a block away so she decided that she must be a ghost. She goes around trying to spook people and "haunting" things by crouching on them. Nobody is actually scared of her even a little and she can't possess people or go through walls or anything. She thinks it's because she's bad at being a ghost. Tends to leave her consistency liquid enough that objects can pass through her in an attempt to be a better ghost. Also makes her gross and sticky with marshmallow goop.

Matos was a saiyan born on planet Vegeta (AKA Plant) 6 years before the end of the Saiyan-Tuffle war. He was raised to believe that you earn your freedom based on your own strength, highlighted by the saiyans liberating themselves by destroying the Tuffles.
This became an important piece of history for him, and pride for his people. After Saiyan dominance, Frieza's soldiers came down to subjugate the race.
Over the years many ended up losing sight of what was important (ie camaraderie) and lots of boasting and infighting was happening. His parents were murdered merely because they were somewhat powerful and a stepping stone for the others, so Matos loses his shit both figuratively and literally. He has a nerd rage and kills the two saiyans, but became heavily injured as well, both body and psyche.
Disgusted by having his own race do such a thing, he hijacked an escape pod and flew to a random coordinate just hoping to get away. (Luckily before Getes blew up) Knowing that life can be stripped away so easily, and with the mindset that only the strong have their freedom, he sees himself as a messenger fit to help everyone understand.
Was poofed in to help Trunks because stronk and only does so because he wants to change the timelines in his own way. Has yet to do that tho.

A low-class Saiyan born with a congenital disorder, causing her hair to be a dark shade of purple (instead of black) and have no tail, who survived the destruction of Planet Vegeta while on a mission to another planet. She was mocked by other Saiyans for the lack of her race's characteristics and thus grew more loyal to Frieza (who may not have been aware of her race), who was more respectful and congratulatory of the work Beat did. While not present on Namek, Beat did accompany Frieza and King Cold to Earth as one of the many minions they brought along.
Serving as a scout with orders to kill Earthlings, she narrowly avoided being destroyed along with the rest of Frieza's forces by Future Trunks. However, in a timeline irregularity, she did find his time machine. While inspecting it, she managed to activate it accidentally and travelled to some unknown point in Earth's past. The last of its energy gone, the time machine became useless, much to Beat's frustration. Aware of Earth's dragon balls, she decided the only way to return was to use them, although more selfish wishes of power and immortality came to mind as well, as it would with any Saiyan.
While wreaking havoc on Earth during this search, Time Patrol showed up. To fix it, she was conscripted into Time Patrol, and everyone lived happily ever after. She either doesn't understand how chairs work, or purposefully sits in them incorrectly to bother others.

Lima is a low class sayain warrior serving in King Vegeta's army she was close friends with Fasha and when Bardock came stumbling into the bar that faithful day and announced that his crew was dead, she rushed to her pod to go to planet meat so she could retrieve her friends corpse, on her way there she realised Bardock wasnt all crazy as she had a view of planet Vegeta and all her companions getting destroyed,

after staying there for 3 years and training daily she started to have dreams that felt incredibly vivid, at first she thought nothing of it untill the voice's started telling her she was seeing the future and that she was not the first Sayain gifted this power,
she saw she was not the one to defeat Frieza and his army, regardless of how much her power grew.
disregarding the visions she was having she swore she would have Vengence on frieza,
eventually someone rocked up and said she could help defeat Frieza on two conditions
the first being she could fight frieza but regardless of her power she must not deliver the final blow.
the second that she join the time patrol as she should be able to understand how important it is to preserve history and the timeline.

Jari is relatively simple minded as far as Majins go. She likes to eat, enjoys fighting, though she tends to want to try to fit into certain groups, or learn how to do certain things, which usually results in her absorbing people, though that usually doesn't last terribly long. One exception there is my previous femMajin, Tophi. When Jari and Tophi fought when Tophi was brainwashed, Jari couldn't beat her, so she absorbed her. Dark energy fucked it up, and Tophi is a permanent part of Jari's bodyas her big, abnormally heavy dick and balls. Tophi is still present in Jari's mind, like Nail and Kami in TFS. She mellowed out just a little bit after that, and got way, way stronger.One possible variant is that, later on, she also absorbs Baby Pumki, and becomes more irritable/prone to absorbing people
Anna is just from an alternate timeline where the Saiyans had a larger, more stable civilization. She wound up posted as a royal guard, and was having a relationship with a princess. The lover wound up dying because of "Political bullshit" as Anna called it. She turned SSJ, got her revenge, then fucked off and joined the time patrol some time after perfecting her SSJ form. Now it's always on, and can't be turned off. She tends to be pretty level headed. Prone to sarcastic humor, but she has a very good heart. Mildly lazyLaciem has nothing special about his backstory. He's an abnormally strong freezy who has an insatiable lust for dicks

Being the manager of eggplant spirits is not a very exciting or demanding job, so Nasuhime is prone to slacking off or finding hobbies to occupy her time, like taking up martial arts and now helping out in Canton City. While the Kai of Eggplants occasionally lends her godly power to helping Time Patrollers on various duties not related to the main timeline, she's also prone to standing around posing or inviting herself to various get togethers or parties.
Her relationship with the backbone of Canton City, the Time Nest, is relatively good. At least with elite Time Patrollers and the Elder Kai who has been helping out. There is some talk though that the Supreme Kai of Time and the Kai of Eggplants apparently had some spat over the cooking of a certain aubergine dish that the Supreme Kai of Time apparently ruined in such a spectacular fashion as to have offended the much lower in station Kai of Eggplants.
