I'm not arguing whether or not she's genuinely evil because we don't know what her endgame is, but she doesn't seem to be all that torn up over using less than likable methods to advance her agenda. In fact, given her flippant attitude, it kind of seems like she revels in it. How do you tank as Roadhog? Mei seems to have a better tanking toolkit and she isn't even classified as a tank! Roadhog seems more like a short distance version of Widowmaker, making him more like a Defender.

You're only focusing on damage alone instead of the rest of the kit around it.
Sombra has high mobility and escape, can disable abilities, hack health packs to disable heroes from using them and regenerate twice as fast, and see heroes through walls that are half health, but seemingly low damage output.

Hacking enemies is too unreliable, coming out of invisibilty is too slow and/or too loud. lingering hitbox from teleporting literally just needs to be fixed. tighten the cone on her spray even.

Symmetra meta is coming and it will be glorious.

I play at 3500 and after many hours on PTR (and my MMR getting me worthwhile games) I honestly think Symmetra is going to throw such a screwball into the meta nobody is going to know what the fuck is going on.

This is a doozy. It's like summoning a speed boosted Reinhardt shield every 10 seconds for free.

Don't forget she has shields instead of health already. The range increase on M1 makes her --significantly-- more combat capable than before, and the power of Symmetra dropping M2 -> Projected Barrier -> M1 is intense. While she's not on the level of a full DPS hero in combat capability, she's very close.
>Shield Generator
This just wins games. Giving anybody that 75 shield buffer is massive. It makes people win direct fights they would otherwise lose, and allows anybody to get some cover and in a few seconds get basically an extra source of healing. Imagine a Pharah that takes someone out but takes 125 points of damage while doing so. She drops behind cover, not easy to reach by healers, reloads, and shield regeneration kicks in. The next time she takes a point of damage, she's back to 225 health. Shield generator here effectively gives 150 points of extra health, not just 75. When she gets out in the open again, Lucio starts healing her now and she continues to recover health back up to 275.

For these reasons, I think Symmetra will be highly desired. The only question remaining is: how will she participate in a 6 man team? How will things be shaped?

Symmetra opens up possibilities that simply didn't exist before. For example, Symmetra+Torbjorn creating 300 hp Tracer while having the area denial of turrets might make defense look very different than any recognizable 2-2-2 or 3-1-2 meta.

If they "focus him hard" He's dead instantly, unless a real tank is there to protect him. Mei can self heal too and her abilities actually allow her to nullify enemy damage to both herself and her team. The enemy isn't wasting anything by focusing Roadhog, he just dies or feeds them ultimate.

I'm consistently getting up to 9 eliminations per life with Sombra her strats are so fucking simple. Hack a large health pack on the way to an objective, drop you telelocator, go invisible, pick off some damaged enemies or hack a tank, teleport back, repeat.

She still needs a reduction to her spread and being completely incapable of 1v1 against any full health hero on the roster is fucking annoying, but she's far from useless, you're just retarded.

Go watch Surefour or IDDQD play her, stop being shit
