They said she feels really really strong internally, but they also thought Genji was on the same level of balance as old Symmetra so their internal testing is pretty ass and it sounds like they might be ready to start acknowledging that.

Soldier:76 does 200 dps excluding any burst from his rockets and he can headshot so when he's shooting a Roadhog he's often doing ~250-300 dps with burst fire up to 35m. This is delivered via hitscan which is far far easier to be accurate with than 26.5 m/s projectiles.

She does pretty low damage with a horrific spread, which would be fine as she is a sneaky hacker after all. Well about that, hacking takes too long, and is interupted by damage. Even if you do hack them they can still shoot the shit out of your team, hack is a high risk, low to no reward ability. Then we have invis, there is a full second delay on entering and exiting it in which you move slowly and can't shoot/use powers, on top of that when exiting she yells at the enemy "I'm over here come fuck my shit up". Then she has translocate, the perfect tool to top off this shit pile. After failing to kill or hack anyone you can teleport to where you set it down, leaving your team to fight a 5v6 while you camp a health kit. Her ult is alright, but still not great.

I love cyberpunk and being sneaky for the record, but picking her means you are bring very little to the team. She's the new Symmetra.

A) You use invis to flank the Rien, you are now in the enemy main line. Decloak delay and voice line means you are gang raped to death or teleport away having achieved nothing.

B) You use translocate to flank, they here beeping and see purple lines on Rien, they kill you as spaghetti falls out of you half invisible pockets.

C) You wait on high ground, their flanker is not retarded and checks it before the push. You choke to death on weeb cock, or teleport away after giving him some weeb stick charge.

D) You pick a good DPS and blow the enemy shield away with your team and then slaughter them like animals.

Have they fixed the issue where you have 1 charge left of your teleporter and are considering throwing yourself off a cliff just so you can start charging your ultimate again?

What if you want to switch from tele to shield generator? Any option other than going back to spawn and toggling heroes? Would it be overpowered if they just let you charge up another ult while one is down? (replacing the old one if you place a new one, like Torb's turrets)

I've used Winston's Shift to counter Pharah's ult successfully a few times. About a 40% success rate. If your team is defenseless to the barrage, jump straight at her and kill her with the splash damage off your face.

Symm's shields seem to count the damage blocked when the shield gets destroyed. So since every shield eventually gets destroyed, by hitting a wall or from shooting, each shield counts towards the full amount for damage blocked.

Yes. At lower skill ranks where your team doesn't know how to leverage shield HP and keeps getting picked, and the enemy doesn't know how to find and destroy your teleporter within a millisecond of you placing it.

But yeah, when playing Symmetra I'll be using shield generator on first point defense. You only get one chance in most cases. Even being dead for 8 seconds is too long.

Attackers are going to advance anyway so they might as well shit on the teleporter as they go.
