It was unranked but I just found it hillarious how ridiculously pointless his plan was. You need to be able to cycle as much stuff as possible as forest and he literally took up one space the whole game to give random +1s (to stuff which would die immediately), another to gain one whole fairy per turn for the whole game, and another to evolve the one of the two fairies he could afford to put out, which just got killed the second it attacked anything anyway. It's like a retarded Elana deck.

I'm gonna be super honest with you, the deck just doesn't work without the Dire Bonds. You need to be able to drop it on turn 3 against anything that isn't a burn deck to keep up your handsize in the mid to lategame, and it's the most important combo piece for Mary since it lets you do 6 damage to face and doesn't require an evolve like Lykos does. Lykos is still super useful for extra reach/burn, especially with Mary, but you can make due without him if you really have to.

Mary generally needs to put out lethal for 5-6 damage on turn 7/8, therefore the rest of the deck has to get the other 14-15 damage in on its own. There are some exceptions to that, like if you can get a Lykos to stick and play a Mary into him on turn 5, but obviously that's not gonna happen often so the average game where you get to use Mary will be using her for a turn 7/8 kill.

To better explain, you play it roughly the same way you'd play an aggressive midrange deck. Play aggro on turns 1 and 2, take a pause on turn 3 if you can for Dire Bond, then either regain control of the board with Raider on turn 4 if you went second, or keep being aggressive with Wolves/Claws/Liliths/etc. if you went first. Everything after this depends on boardstate and what you have in your hand; the important thing is that you know what combos you can use to close the game out. Dark General+Claw/Wolf on turn 6 can throw up to 9 damage at the opponent's face, even Imp Lancer on her own can do 5. On turn 7 you can pull Mary+Claw for 5 direct face damage, or use Alucard to keep you in the game with his heal and hit for 4 to 6 damage. Once you get to turn 8, you get the really fun Mary combos, like Dire Bond or Lykos for 6 or Claw+Wraith for 7.

tl;dr: Get easy damage in early, then either kill them outright, or heal and pressure the board for a mid/late combo kill.

you're making it sound like you don't have unicorn or sargent in your deck, and you should do that. That said, I run two, he's useful against aggro decks and you're going to evolve if you're doing aggro, so 1 extra damage is good.

Also do mummy, easily my favorite 2-drop in the mid and late game.
